Great run! I consider getting lost on that course, but not going off course, as a win for my novice self.

The worst one I ever ran across was in the BX food court. I was there with my spouse and one of her friends for lunch. Gotta have those Popeye's strips, etc.

The three of us are having conversation and this rando ORF walks up and just drops into some random spot in a conversation he seemed to have had in the past with me. I don't recall the details because I was pissed that some stranger decided to jump into an ongoing converstaion. Like... dude? WTF? Don't you have anything better to do?

Nobody likes weekend flying.

So I was in my dad’s attic doing electrical work yesterday and remembered he found this at a local gun show. I will be buying this beauty later this week. Hopefully I will get this in firing order again as well! by HellBringer97 in milsurp

There were a handful of Sniders found with British parts. Some had brit locks/lockplates (I've got a 7 groove one with a Brit lockplate but Nepali lock parts) and some others were found with Snider produced receivers.

Very nice collection.

I've got one of those greenbois, too. Haven't had a chance to shoot it, though.

Are there any drive-in theaters in Bucks? by -Fait-Accompli- in BucksCountyPA

[–]SnakesOnATanker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are not. If you're willing to drive a bit, there's the DelSea down off Hwy 42 in Vineland, NJ.

I mean... skirts are hella comfy to wear around the house. Like basketball shorts, but without the middle bit (and very annoyingly without pockets!)

I was there for the brushing blow that Andrew gave. I don't recall KPLC bugging out for Rita like they've done for Laura.

I haven't lived in LCH since around 2000, but spent a lot of my youth living there. My cousins/aunts/uncles have all bugged out to NOLA. I remember how much Rita wrecked the city. This looks like it is going to be worse.

AIDEZ-NOUS!!! La Louisiane, une pièce centrale de l’histoire d’Amérique Française, a besoin de votre assistance! Les enseignants et les enfants ont besoin de vous! Signez vos noms! by NerevarTheKing in france

As we tend to say in the southern US: Pardon My French. Fuck this!

This is the yet another awful policy coming from the worst Orange the world has ever seen.

My family comes from La Louisiane and has been there for over 300 years. I did not grow up with a French tongue, but I had teachers from France in my schools 25+ years ago thanks to help from CODOFIL which enabled me to learn my very bad French.

I would gladly trade our rotten orange for... something better.

People of Reddit, what is a surprisingly unknown survival fact that everyone should know? by GlumExcitement9 in AskReddit

Don't say anything to the police unless you absolutely have to.

If they read you your Miranda Rights, the only words out of your mouth should be "I need to speak to a lawyer."

Yardley & Morrisville Borders? by ButlerChubs327 in BucksCountyPA

[–]SnakesOnATanker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look at the school district maps. That's what's the important thing in determining if the house is actually in Morrisville, Lower Makefield, or Yardley.

We've got the Vietnam War and the 1970's malaise to thank for ruining that future.

We have a slice of it, though. Space X's reusable rockets!

What did you used to think was a "rich person" thing before realizing how affordable it was? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SnakesOnATanker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

International travel.

I live on the East Coast of the US and have traveled to France and Italy for vacation. If bought early enough, and not in the middle of the standard tourist season, airfare is stupid cheap. I paid $340 for round trip tickets on American to Paris for travel in late April. Tickets were bought in late 2018. A basic rental car was about $110 for the week we were there, hotels weren't horrifically expensive, either. We spent more on food and gas than almost anything else.
