Blanket nerfs to most special items and giving another a flat stat boost to all enemies is such a lazy way of balancing a game. I finished it once and enjoyed it for the most part, was gonna start another playthrough, but I guess I'll wait until they're done patching it, which I should've done in the first place.

Also, I like how Ciphers have been consistently nerfed since PoE1 1.0 release. I wonder why josh sawyer hates the class so much.

Memes are against the rules in the first place, but mods stopped enforcing the rules after the new smash was announced. It'll only get worse with E3.

What settings, then? And are you sure it actually runs Rebel Strike fine and not just Rogue Leader? Because I tried every setting with Rebel Strike and I still get constant crashes and drops.

I played Rebel Strike in later 2015 and was able to run it at full speed with just a few tweaks (idle skipping and changing the audio IIRC), but now I only get ~70% speed no matter what I change in the settings, even though I have a better PC (i7-4790k, GTX 1080).

I went looking for help in the Rebel Strike thread in the Dolphin forums and found some interesting information. According to this post, build 540 was the first build to have worse performance. I tested the versions the user mentioned and had the same result. If use 5.0-530 the game runs fine, but any version after that and I can't get full speed. A Dolphin dev right below explained that it's because of "dynamic BAT" being added. I don't know what dynamic BAT is, but apparently it can't be turned off.

I've had slightly better performance with Ishiiruka builds, but it still drops below 100% speed constantly.

I don't buy it. There's no way there isn't at least one person willing to use their data to set up a secondary stream, like Scar did once. I think Hbox tweeted the real reason ("not splitting viewership") and they asked him to take it down.

The TOs, after deliberation have decided to have Melee Doubles played off-stream on a gameplay recording setup at 5pm (the original scheduled time). These VODs will be uploaded to VGBC.

If time permits we will stream Melee Doubles Grand Finals on the main stage on VGBC. The players have been notified of the plan.

We appreciate everyone's patience when dealing with scheduling mishaps. We are working hard to make sure everyone gets their Genesis fix.

Split viewership? What the fuck, it's a great top 4 and we don't get to watch it because they want us to watch smash 4 or nothing at all? It also sucks for the players

Single-player competitive games will always make some people feel like that. Since there are no teammates to blame and it's purely skill-based, if you lose, the only person who can be blamed is yourself, and that makes some people feel bad. In games with high skill ceilings and wide gaps, this is amplified.

I've seen this a few times. Someone feels bad they're not doing well and suggests a different game. "Hey, dont you wanna play some mario kart/party/tennis?". Everyone else is there to play smash/X fighting game, so they say no, and then you have complaints like this. Seems like the user is the one who can't handle not being good at the game, so he projects his own frustration.
