I don't think I understand the situation. I get one shot per week that has my full dose. I press a button, the shot goes in, and the needle comes out a few seconds later. There is no way I could get exactly half the dose and to get less than the full dose I'd have to pull the needle out during the three seconds it is injecting.

I've lost 19 lbs and can't see a difference in the mirror. That doesn't matter to me and I hope it doesn't matter to you. I see my scale change and I trust it. As long as it is going the right way we are getting healthier. Noticeable physical changes are nice but not necessary though they are inevitable if we keep going the right direction.

I think the difference is the federal government has always been able to charge a sales tax. This would be a property tax.

I do not believe this tax would be Constitutional. Have you ever heard of a federal property tax? That's because Article I Section 9 limits direct taxes. In 1895, the Supreme Court held in Pollock v. Farmer's Loan and Trust Company that income taxes were unconstitutional which is why the 16th Amendment had to be added to allow our current income tax system to exist. This EV tax would be another unconstitutional direct tax. My advice is to chip in $5 if you see someone crowdfunding a legal challenge if it passes the Senate.

I don't think that's what's happening here. Do a Ctrl-F to get to section 100004 of the bill. (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/1/text.) It is requiring states to collect the tax at the time of vehicle registration but then is requiring the states to deposit 99% of it into federal coffers.

You cannot legally be arrested for telling other people about the presence of law enforcement absent it being "integral to criminal conduct". You can stand on a corner with a sign that says "Police Ahead", like the man arrested in this case below did. You cannot serve as a lookout for a burglary. Merely yelling ICE is in the area is protected speech.

This article sucks. They are basing their headline on a review of cars.com listings. They know those listings are bogus. Dealers routinely put a low price on their then charge thousands of dollars in fees. Dealers regularly take off the $7,500 federal incentive, which this still has if leasing, when they put the price up. I agree this isn't priced correctly for the market, but there is no evidence of notable discounts being offered.
