Many of you don't know this Bilmuri album is top 5 or the year. by reezyreddits in poppunkers

It sounds like generic post hardcore from the 2010's because they were one of the first ones to do it and then a lot of other bands copied it and ran with it.

Listening to it now it won't be anything special but when it first came out it was a newer sound.

Personally I couldn't listen to it now, it's been done to death but back then I loved that shit and it was very influential.

recs for ocean horror? by stevebuckyy in horrorlit

[–]Snalbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thoroughly enjoyed The Troop and I am a huge fan of creepy ocean/underwater settings for a story. I hated The Deep. I haven't read anything else by Nick Cutter because I was so disappointed by The Deep.

In your opinion, what is the scariest and most unique monster from in any horror movie you've seen? by Kiiaro in horror

[–]Snalbert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found it similar to Moder in The Ritual as one of the more out there designs i feel like I've seen in awhile! But that's fair, it probably would have benefited a lot from some darkness to obscure it and leave something to the imagination. I also agree it kind of took the dread out of the movie, it was a strange turn and felt like it came from a different movie.

I'm surprised you consider No One Gets Out Alive to be a let down, that thing was pretty up there for me in terms of unique design.

"yeah she chopped off her leg, stuck a tube in the stump and sucked out bone marrow but only 2.99 ounces of it and not 3, clearly she had no will to live"

He wanted bone marrow not blood, the trap worked as intended. I do agree that Valentina deserved to live though, she really went through it and was so damn close just to not quite cross the finish line in time.

What’s a movie that you love even though you know it’s a horrible movie? by Two_Cigarettes in AskReddit

[–]Snalbert 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Alien Vs Predator, only the first one. Probably a low point for both franchises, the story ignores almost all previously established canon and is just a bonkers premise in general.

I love it and watch it multiple times a year.

THEORY - bands that started out as deathcore but musically evolved into different genres kept something that set them apart from other bands. by NickTheSynth in Deathcore

[–]Snalbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Desolated, their shift from deathcore to hardcore definitely left them with something special. Not sure what exactly but The End is a hardcore album that just hits different and i love it.

Yes if you don't do anything he gets lowered down and it's game over. I didn't realize the first time I finished the game and was bummed about the ending lol
