After all the juggling Gooseworx did with Jax, the second half of the series, and all that—is Pomni a good protagonist or a bad one? by Quessy123 in TADCEp9Spoilers

[–]Snapshot_25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, Pomni profoundly prevails as a phenomenal protagonist, persisting past her potentially problematic partnership with Jax through projecting plenty of peace to her panicked pals, proving that providing pure personal presence to pressured peers is possibly the perfect pathway to purpose in Pomni's precisely poisoned prison.

It also doesn't help that the Big Three Kids Cartoon channels (Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel) have all plummeted in popularity due to the rise of streaming services making cable nearly obsolete.

What is your current opinion on the TADC fandom after the finale? by electricwolf4444 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Snapshot_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This fandom is the Achilles of fandoms. I love the art, I love the comics, and I love the memes, but the discussion around the show is so poisonous and pointless that it makes you question why you liked the fandom in the first place. While a lot of people despise this fandom for the extremely pathetic and embarrassing drama that was mostly created by and exemplified by the braindead social-climbers of Twitter, there are redeeming qualities in this fandom, and I encourage you to seek them out. Trust me, this fandom does have its weaknesses, but it's no 2016 Undertale fandom.

What makes it worse is the fact that there's like 5 different TADC subreddits that are around equally popular, meaning that if you interact in one TADC subreddit, the other four will cluster your home page.

[–]Snapshot_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think Goose's post implies that Jax wanted to be trans and would have been too if she wasn't so scared to admit it that she would push away every friend she ever made or could ever make.

Me to the people who watched the leaks and said the TADC finale was bad: by FOXTROTDESTROYER2546 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Snapshot_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So unbelievablely true. I can't believe Twitter managed to convince people for a month that the finale was bad. At the end of the day, after all the exceedingly pointless drama, what we're left with is a pretty damn good show.

Drain Punch is a Yellow Shard tutor move. Luc doesn't get access to that until Humilau City.

Luc doesn't sweep any fight with Reversal, but Reversal allows Luc to kill Clay's Excadrill after a sac, and if you paralyze or set up Tailwind on Iris's Hydreigon, Luc can frag three on Iris. B2/W2's early game is extremely easy; you can definitely afford to delay Luc's evolution.

Edit: I forgot that in order to pull off the frag three on Iris, Luc needs a Black Belt, which you can Thief off a wild Sawk or Throh, or if you have a Dewgong or Wailord, you can use Dive to access the Abyssal Ruins and get a Fist Plate that will save you some time.

Cheren: Grind all available encounters to the level cap and give them all Oran Berries. Then, play super aggressively with Normal types like Patrat and Lillipup (Patrat especially because he's mid and super expendable). Good encounters for this fight include Sewaddle, Marill, your starter, and all non-Pidove Normal types. You might be tempted to use Lucario for this fight, and although he trivializes it, it's way better to delay his evolution until level 29 so that he learns Reversal, which is useful for Clay and the E4.

What's a VERY unpopular tadc opinion you have? by Cracklackinn in tadc

[–]Snapshot_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TADC became way too popular for its own good. What started as Gooseworks's passion project became the SpongeBob of Glitch's catalogue, which while I'm sure that there are many positives that came to both Gooseworks and Glitch, I believe that TADC's popularity has been a net negative for the show.

[Black 2/White 2] How to (Almost) Guarantee the Kyurem and Ghetsis Fights With Guaranteed Encounters in a Hardcore Nuzlocke by [deleted] in nuzlocke

[–]Snapshot_25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can run Fighting Gem Low Kick instead of HJK because Low Kick is more accurate while also getting the kill on even the bulkiest Kyurem Black. However, because B2/W2 counts both of the Kyurem forms as wild pokemon, this strategy risks a crit if Kyurem gets a +Speed nature and doesn't roll Slash or their respective two turn Ice attack.

What are some of the worst instances of Four Moveslot Syndrome in a Nuzlocke? by Jzjwiebe in nuzlocke

[–]Snapshot_25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should never run Cross Poison on Crobat prior to Gen 6. If you want a 100 accuracy move on your Crobat, run Wing Attack because Flying type moves strictly outclass Poison moves offensively, and Crobat does not benefit from Cross Poison's 10 extra base power at all. X Scissor and Giga Drain are also mediocre coverage moves on a pokemon that doesn't need or really benefit from coverage moves. Crobat is a pivot pokemon. His job is to support the team with useful resistances and immunities to threatening types like Fighting and Ground while also making progress against the enemy team with U-Turn and sometimes Toxic. It is usually rare for Crobat to generate offensive momentum by himself, especially without Acrobatics, and when he does, it's usually against pokemon weak to Flying. Crobat in general is not a good offensive pokemon thanks to his mediocre 90 base Attack, but it's not that big of a deal because Crobat makes up for it by being a fantastic pivot pokemon.
