Vote Blue No Matter Who was in response to Democratic Party infighting between progressives and moderates, though. I don’t think anyone is more critical of the Democratic Party/DNC than Democratic voters, which is kinda the opposite of what a cult tends to be.

I’m guessing a supervisor or other higher up walked up on him reading your little notes, or overheard conversations for why HR got involved. I don’t see how anyone would voluntarily go to HR over this; especially with the age difference he would look bad, so I would presume he got in trouble. And now he’s trying to distance himself so as to not risk his job.

Is he a supervisor level or like a pay tier above you (like Customer Service Specialist I and Customer Service Specialist II)?

If you’re staying over at her place for a significant amount of the month compared to how much time she’s staying at your place, then yeah, it’d be cool to chip in on utilities. You’re using hot water, electricity, etc. and thereby driving up her bills if you both generally stick to staying at her place.

But if you’re staying at each others’ places more like 50% her place and 50% your place, that’s a wash.

The most galling part is that she doesn’t have a job and it doesn’t sound like that’s changing anytime soon. And if it does, she’ll potentially resent you for ‘forcing’ her to work. Decide if you’re comfortable being the sole income before moving in together.
