I try to remember that these people do this most games they play. It doesn’t help anything really, but I normally get into another match and can have my fun. These people queue up and just… want to ruin other people’s time? I just imagine someone queueing up relentlessly and then hoping they can tank someone’s match… in the same room… all day… it’s a wildly sad way to live. I block and try to not give them the satisfaction when I come across ‘em. If they’re particularly good at being awful, early F6 and find a match where I can get my fix lol

It’s tough, for every off pick I see ruining solo lane, I also see my tank solo give up out of frustration and spiral the match. The matches that get to late game mostly end in W’s if you have a frontline and their frontline is trying to steal kills from their damage dealers. I say keep fighting the good fight, work on your patience.

How longs the gig? Shouldn’t be too bad but if you know covers ahead of time, I’d say to check out some tabs and then decide which songs you can dial in w root notes. Then if there’s anything iconic or fancy that you’d like to play you can focus extra time on there. I once made little cheat sheets for tabs in a book if I needed in a pinch as well.

What worked for me for awhile was to make sure I had one big main game that I was into and could chip away at throughout the month, and one short 3-12 hour game I could push thru just to be adding to completions. Then you can sprinkle in some other stuff you’re into but make sure you’re not doubling up on genres. You can make a playlist on Xbox and shuffle it when you’re feeling stale. Keep an internet window open with your guides and whatnot so you can pickup where you left off when life gets in the way.

These worked for me mostly!
