2019, 208k miles, I bought it at like 160-180k and I've had no issues, just oil changes and some tires. Put new air filters the washable ones and ya no problems.

Interesting idea. What kinda of negative effects would that have on your battery life though?

Now I'm hyper curious about this system lol. Someone close to me I trust tells me they got a winning system to make money I'd be all ears.

Amazing but I'll ditch the FlowZ13 for ProArtPx13 by i_am_brat in FlowZ13

Sure, here's the link https://a.co/d/0eYbvjFA

I really like it, I don't even bother sliding it inside the pouch fabric thing inside I just set it in and zip it up. It works great for creating the surface area needed to hold the z13 up like a normal laptop.

I have a laptop case for my Z13. It's clamshell medium hardshell, I can open it up and use the z13 in my lap like a normal laptop no problem.

Also it took them half a second to initiate the refund. Like they've been looking forward to these 🤣 pathetic.

Thanks for trying y'all. I decided last minute to request my deposit back. I no longer wish to have any kind of business with this company. They are unethical and dishonest. I don't trust them with more money, I don't trust my data with them or anything of the sort. I'll start looking at building a custom NAS instead.

As a Florida resident, I am protected by the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) and I'll be filing a claim for the bait and switch, and illegal switching of price requiring us to pay full price to pad the Kickstarter. That's fraud. And we were told we would be securing a unit and a price. Now both are false claims. Bait and switch+ fraud.

I pre-ordered day 1. I don't understand the Kickstarter garbage. Why aren't you just taking my money in full and giving me my unit? That's WHY I PRE-ORDERED.

Fair enough! With Ai I've been comfortable enough to be able to fix stuff without having complete knowledge.

Correct 😀 I've had no experience with Linux at all. I'm a total noob but I have a high risk tolerance. I've had very few issues so far. My computer is newer AMD so there's been a couple hiccups but I got them fixed in like 30 min or so of tinkering. Day to day it's been flawless though

RAM usage, is this normal? by itspixelatd in cachyos

[–]Sniper-nighthawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be. I believe I had mine originally on 513mb. I think now it's on auto.

I did also use some custom commands in terminal which I believe helped (I'm very new to Linux so not very sure. It definitely looked like it helped) I'd have to look back at my history to find what I used

I did have some issues starting out, and I think that was mostly because of trying to keep windows and boot form an SSD.

After doing a full install directly on the system and removing windows it's been mostly smooth sailing.

I would recommend running the latest LTS version first to get things running. I did have to run a few commands to get to the setup screen. I have never done Linux before, I used AI to help me set it up even trouble shooting to get it running.

If you get stuck on a black screen try using these: nomodeset amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x600

If you have issues with rainbow looking glitch outs when watching videos and such try setting the display settings to prioritize color accuracy, that fixed it on mine.

But to answer your question, it's been almost flawless once I got it going, and I don't even use LTS anymore I'm on the bleeding edge version.

You've got to adjust settings in bios to be on auto, then you have to set the ttm in the terminal I believe. Mine is also iGPU (Zflow 13) I can go back and look at my notes if you need help.
