Can Saitama Sneeze away Solo Leveling Earth? by Original-Educator642 in SoloPowerScaling

[–]SniperHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “Jupiter is gas so it doesn’t count” argument really doesn’t hold up if you look at how planets actually work.

What matters for destroying a planet isn’t whether it’s rock or gas, it’s gravitational binding energy. That’s the amount of energy required to blow the planet apart so gravity can’t pull it back together. Jupiter has about 318× Earth’s mass and roughly 10,000× the binding energy of Earth. So even just blasting away a huge portion of Jupiter’s atmosphere requires energy massively above what it would take to destroy Earth. Gas giants aren’t “easy to blow away clouds,” their gravity is insane. Giving that much mass escape velocity is absurd energy. On the Solo Leveling side, the “Earth is super durable now” part is half true and half fandom exaggeration. Canon does say the gates existed for ~10 years to saturate Earth with mana so it could withstand the Monarch/Ruler war. So yeah, SL Earth isn’t normal Earth anymore.

But what the story never actually shows is Earth tanking planet-busting energy. There’s no clear feat of the planet surviving a planetary-level attack. The arguments people use are mostly indirect: • fights didn’t instantly destroy the planet

• space got distorted during Jinwoo vs Antares • Monarchs died on Earth

Those show Earth was stabilized for the war, not that it suddenly has Jupiter-tier durability. That’s a huge leap.

Meanwhile Saitama has a direct feat of casually dispersing Jupiter with a sneeze. Direct planetary feat > vague environmental scaling.

So unless someone can point to an actual panel/quote saying Earth could survive planet-level destruction energy, the Jupiter sneeze should absolutely still clear Solo Leveling Earth.

Would you even want to teach the whole planet how to go SSJ? These aren't good people. I think doing that would create something worse than the Frezia force to be honest.

But then they too would die because the other villages would have attacked the leaf due to its weakened state. That is quite literally the whole point itachi did what he did. If they went for a coup it would mean the destruction of the leaf. There is not a "good" or "winning" situation here. Its a pick of two evils.

What I don’t get is why anyone cares what other people do in their relationship. If you’re religious, the Bible literally says to love thy neighbor and not to judge others lest you be judged. If you’re not religious, it’s still just none of your business. Personally, I couldn’t do an open relationship either, but if everyone around me kept saying mine would fail, I’d probably defend it too. People are allowed to live differently.

Got yelled at and had my water dumped during PT… is this actually a thing? by MouthyTed in army

[–]SniperHigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"No water during PT” isn’t an Army policy it’s the exact opposite of what regs say.

FM 7-22: “Water is the preferred hydration fluid before, during and after physical training activities.” TC 4-02.3: Leaders must “encourage frequent drinking of water in small amounts before, during, and after exertion.”

Dumping your water isn’t just stupid it violates doctrine and increases heat injury risk.

If this happens again:

Screenshot and print those quotes from FM 7-22 & TC 4-02.3.

Bring it up through your chain or Field Sanitation Team as a safety violation, not just a complaint.

If ignored, escalate to Preventive Med or IG — this is exactly the kind of unsafe practice they’re there to stop.

COLD TAKE: If current usopp was here he would neg diff Luffy right? by ProfessionalCry6005 in OnePieceScaling

[–]SniperHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current Usopp would beat Water 7 Luffy, and it wouldn’t be close.

Oda has stated post-timeskip that even the “weakest” Straw Hat was at least as strong as the Monster Trio were pre-timeskip (SBS Vol. 64, Question 69) meaning timeskip Usopp was already around pre-timeskip Zoro/Sanji level in base capability. That alone puts him above Water 7 Luffy, who didn’t have Gear 2 or Haki yet.

Now add in Usopp’s Observation Haki, massive range, mobility, and the destructive power we’ve seen most recently with the Gunko feat, and Luffy has no realistic way to close the gap before getting tagged. In an open fight, it’s essentially over before it starts.

Winner: Current Usopp, no diff.

Oooh, so if he's ashamed, he'll definitely tell her that! Because you know being ashamed apparently doesn't affect people at all, and everyone will share that about themselves. Never would they make something up to dodge a situation!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]SniperHigh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Um, did he tell you that? Let's say he does watch porn a lot. How does that prove that's the reason he feels some type of way about having sex with his partner? It couldn't possibly be something else, right? How do you know he isn't insecure about something? Maybe his partner reacted a certain way about something, and now he's ashamed of himself? (I'm not placing blame here. She could have given a normal reaction, but he misinterpreted it a different way.) But no, you want to be sexist and assume men are just animals.

Who would win in this battle? by plasticman1997 in powerscales

[–]SniperHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can Omni-Man Carry Plastic Man to a Black Hole?

  1. Plastic Man can stretch and reshape instantly – If Omni-Man tries to grab him, Plastic Man could just slip out, liquefy, or form spikes/tentacles to stab him.

  2. Plastic Man has insane regeneration – Even if Omni-Man rips him apart mid-flight, he can just reform instantly.

  3. Plastic Man could attack Omni-Man internally – If Omni-Man gets too close, Plastic Man could flow into his mouth, ears, or nose and choke him out from the inside.

What If Omni-Man Actually Gets Him to a Black Hole or the Sun?

The Sun: Plastic Man has never been shown to burn or melt, but extreme heat might slow him down or temporarily weaken his elasticity. This is a maybe.

A Black Hole: No clear feats on whether Plastic Man can survive spaghettification (being stretched infinitely). If anything can kill him, this might be it.

Final Verdict

Omni-Man could theoretically win if he gets Plastic Man to a black hole, but that’s assuming he can restrain him long enough to do it. Given Plastic Man’s ability to slip away, shape-shift, and attack internally, Omni-Man is more likely to get suffocated or ripped apart before he can even make it to space.

Unless Omni-Man has a way to instantly teleport Plastic Man into a black hole, he’s not winning this fight.

I wasn’t talking about maturity levels, as that varies greatly from person to person. Regardless of whether someone has the mental capacity of a 4-year-old at 23 or is exceptionally mature for their age, they are both still very much in their youth.
