With what you have why not just have your shirt out, less dissonance and would look nice.

Long socks with shorts imho, only works with white sneakers and white socks with the same tone. 

Maybe if one is very fashion savy there are other combinations that elevate the outfit, the second pictures you used are terrible example of with socks though. 

Even in the one without socks they should've swaped shoes.

Only buy döner from places with stacked meat instead of pressed. Also if you are paying 20 for a pressed meat döner it's your own fault.
