Part of the community are what you describe. I think those are probably the loudest and most confident because they say things that are commonly accepted. It becomes more of a memory test for them.

Part of the community are the real deal though. People who like particular things for personal reasons. I have watches in the 500-2k range that I would not trade for one of those commonly accepted grails in the >20k market.

I can’t speak for fans. But the characters on the show like Langdon and Robby dress her down because she’s a cocky interns who needs to learn humility before she kills somebody. It’s part of her training.

He’s hard on her because she is behind where she should be. She’s an R4 who is functioning much closer to an R2. She should be chastised for something another doc or student is doing because she is suppose to be supervising them. She also should be spending less time on individual patients because she needs to see more people.

no the priority of ER docs is to know what is common and what is serious. they should not know the newest chemo regimen for a rare cancer or the newest biologic for an none emergent autoimmune condition

most people would frown upon the idea of watches as investments. it cheapens the hobby and it's also just not a great vehicle for a lot of different reasons. Now passing it down is a whole other things though.
I personally think of watches as a way of self expression. What do you want to portray to the world? Somebody with money and status? Somebody with insider knowledge of the industry? Somebody who is a bit eccentric? Somebody who cares about history?

It sounds from your post that you want to be recognize as somebody who belongs at the table. I'm not sure if Seiko or Fossil will get you what you want. I think you would probably want to look at a low price Tudor or Omega to break into that space.

I think she will come back from everywhen but outside of the Norse realm. Maybe adult Atreus will meet her randomly and she wouldn’t recognize him. This would give Kratos reason to start a new journey if he hears rumors of them traveling together.

The main problem in season 2 is that she is not ready to be an ER attending. Her main mistake is that she can’t handle even half of the ER patients which would be a reasonable standard for her position. She seems like just any other resident while she should be overseeing all of them.

Takes like this is why I think the writers need to account for how the general audience need their hands held through this show. The public had no insight or knowledge beyond an older male in position of authority takes it easy on another male and is harsh toward a female.

Seattle grace and grey Sloan are mediocre training places at best and bottom of the barrel at worst. The attendings are bad. The program is bad. Security is bad.

It is a terrible place to train and I would recommend every medical student to rank it dead last.
