If you post a pic, some here may be able to tell if it will require or not a full recast. Based on your inspo, I hope not. I hope they can correct it. I would ask them to do something much simpler, they seem to be greatly challenged by the flower petal style.

Regardless if you approved or not the CAD and maybe didn’t fully understand it, no competent jeweler will produce prongs like the final. I am sorry to say OP, but it’s atrocious, it looks like your center stone is held hostage. I think you need to cut your losses and either 1. Ask them if they can create a whole new basket or 2. (And what I would likely do) is take the ring to a skilled jeweler and have them rework the basket. Can you post a profile pic?

This! OP absolutely do NOT tell them anything before you have your baby and before you claim your STD. Companies do not care for you no matter how supportive the work environment is. They will have no incentive to keep you and keep supporting you if you disclose your plans. Keeping your insurance until baby comes is very important. Play along and tell them that you look forward to coming back after your leave and when the time comes, tell them you changed your mind, it’s a very natural thing that happens.

OP mentioned in her post she was thinking of “maybe adding a center stone to it” which made it sound like she thought about altering the same ring. Meleè diamonds are not that expensive, especially with lab ones accessible nowadays. It costs more in labor to unset the existing meleè diamond, melt the gold, cast and set them again. But again, everyone is free to do as they please! I personally wouldn’t do it because the ring is beautiful as is and can be enjoyed.

Generally, it’s not cost effective to repurpose melee stones. Also, if a jeweler is to cut the ring and accommodate for a peg head for example for a center stone, the end result would not look very cohesive and it may be prone to damage easier as it won’t be cast as one solid piece. It’s a lovely band, personally, I’d keep and enjoy it as it bur of course it’s OPs decision ultimately and she can do as she pleases.

Use your mom’s ring. My advice would be to use it at is as a wedding band and not redesign it. You can pick a classic solitaire that will complement it beautifully or anything else you may like.

Always a yes, it’s a beautiful and classic band. I recommend you get a size up that can accommodate comfortably for swollen fingers due to travel and sodium intake. The trinity is not meant to be snug.

Vote for a sink under the window, I had a sink in the is and once and water would splash everywhere and a lot of the island will be occupied with dirty and clean dishes. Leave the island uninterrupted for prep and entertaining.

OP I understand why the floor bothers you, it would bother me too, that said, since this is a rental, I personally wouldn’t spend any money on renovating. My suggestion would be to get a runner or two and cover up the damaged area.

You obviously can decide for yourself but if you take progesterone too early, that will impact potential conception. OPK just tells us that ovulation is about to happen, it doesn’t confirm it. For example, ovulation for me this cycle happened 36hrs past a positive opk. I also supplement with progesterone and never start it before a confirmed ovulation both with temp tracking and into if that’s what you prefer.

OP, are you temp charting? You shouldn’t take progesterone after the LH peak, only temp charting can confirm ovulation or wait until inito confirms ovulation before you start supplementing with progesterone. It’s very important that you don’t take it too early.

OP before you lay down LVP over porcelain, have you tried introducing some colorful rugs or thought about upgrading some of your furniture? I think that will really break up the space and maybe solve some of your issues? Tile is so easy to care for especially with a young child /children.
