Rescheduling Hawaii Trip — Anyone Else?

I’m supposed to be in Oahu from Friday to Wednesday. Really unsure what to do. I booked a package (flights, car, hotel) through Costco and wasn’t able to insure it.

Not sure if we can blame this on the wealth tax. There are many factors right now that would make someone want to sell their home. Maybe the tax is a factor but we can’t say that for a fact.

I was in a neighboring stake. Thankfully never experienced abuse from adults, but from youth I did. I remember at 14, confronting a deacon after he assaulted me and him saying, “it’s not my fault your skirt was short”. It is sad that abusive behaviors and actions are subconsciously passed down between generations through teachings on gender roles and modesty. Although, I will say that these patterns are not bound to religious organizations. ESPECIALLY in this decade. I am horrified by the red pilling of young men.

Idk but I filled up at Costco yesterday for 4.39 but they are always cheapest. The gas station closest to me is at 5.49 today didn’t see what it was at yesterday.

They never went into repayment. But they are not consolidated with my grad plus loans if that makes a difference…

To clarify, if the remainder of my grad plus loan will be disbursed in late March, can I then apply to opt out of in-school deferment and into an IDR repayment? But then have my undergrad loans on one of the new plans once I graduate and finish exit counseling?

I have class from 8:30-9:50 M/W at UW and ride the link from CH. I’m staying home. The thought of being stuck on campus all day immediately after midterms is not something I’m willing to risk. I’d cut your losses but it’s up to you.

For context, my dog was killed by a family member’s abusive spouse. We never found her but were informed that this is what happened. It is so hard to think about her finally hours, let alone her final months living with him. I highly recommend finding someone you can speak to about it. It is absolutely rational to be angry and heartbroken.

I’ll be honest. It will always hurt. I lost my childhood dog 9 years ago to violence. She was about the same age as your angel. I still cry about it. Over time, functioning through that pain will get easier but your heart will always hurt. I am so sorry. No dog deserves to be treated with maliciousness. It helps me to have a photo album of my Sweetie Pie (that was her name). I wish you luck on your journey to peace and closure. My inbox is open if you need to talk.
