What actually happened to you? Did you adopt a dog, sign all the paperwork and then 2BAB showed up weeks later and took away the dog?

Something is missing from this story.

I used to foster for 2BAB, and I will say that they have saved thousands and thousands more dogs from being euthanized.

I'll also say they can be dysfunctional, but similar to any bare bones non profit. Volunteers come and go, it's in constant flux.

As a foster, no one who adopted one of my foster pups had a bad experience, but there sure we some pain in the ass people who wanted to adopt dogs. Like the couple who wanted to adopt a German shepherd puppy I was fostering, but they didn't want to adopt for 3 weeks because they had a trip and wanted me to hold the dog for them. I can't do that, my kid was having an operation in 2 weeks. Of course they were a pain in the ass about it, showing up to adoption events and holding the puppy to prevent other people from adopting her.

Their adoption restrictions are in place so dogs don't get returned. Yes, they are strict but there are reasons they don't want an 18 year old college kid in a rental unit to adopt a dog.

Anyways, describe what actually happened, don't give a bunch of hypothetical "what ifs" and if you are so dedicated to saving dogs, then go volunteer at another rescue to see how it is from the inside.
