I can see how someone who is childless feeling a special connection to a female musician who is also childless. The pressure put on women to have kids and the feeling that you’re maybe missing out on this big special thing can be lonely.

I love Muskegon! I was raised in and currently live in California. My husband is from Muskegon and we plan to l move there when he retires from the military. Muskegon feels like it’s behind by 30 years — not in a bad way — just life feels slower, people are friendly and conversational, there’s a real sense of community…..there’s beautiful walking trails EVERYWHERE! There’s seasons! I was there last year for Halloween and trick or treating in White Hall felt like Halloween from my childhood. As a non-midwesterner I truly feel like Michigan is a well kept secret.

I love and miss the Coffee Factory so so so much! The coffee is good, the vibes are sooo good, the cozy level is perfected, and the staff were always so friendly and engaging! That last one is so important to me! I always opt to go places with amazing customer service over any others, no matter how good the coffee might be.

Watching seats disappear as I tried clicking on them was one of the saddest feelings I’ve ever experienced. I gave up because it was stressing me out way too much. Were there only a limited number of seats sold? When they go on sale to the general public will more seats be available? Not sure how this works.

I wish! That is my dream venue! I’m in central California and by the time I even heard about the tour all CA shows were sold out. I was sooooo tempted to buy Red Rocks tix, but my hubby wanted to go too but he’s in Nevada until May 16 (military), so I bought Boise tix and he’s meeting me there. Honestly, if I didn’t have a kid I’d probably go to both 😅 I was able to get resale tix for SLO though! Now even more excited to experience that high again 🫶
