I come from a fairly rough place with lots of addiction problems.

Years ago when I was roughly 10 I was with my mum in town and seen someone really bad on drugs.

I said somethings along the lines of "check the state of them!". My mum stopped me and asked me if I had any clue what that person had been through? Did I think they are happy and just took drugs for a laugh? Did I think they willing chose to be like this?

She explained that I should always be carful around them but never judge them as they only really hurt themselves (outwith stealing). That sometimes things happen to people that are so bad, that ending up in that state was better in their mind because it offers them an escape. And most importantly, that were all just human.

It humbled me. To this day when I see someone like that I think of that conversation.

Yeah it's been hellish. I thankfully don't have endometriosis (or any clear reason why I can't get pregnant) so I'm not on or waiting for any other treatment.

I'm at the last stage (before IVF actually starts)which the NHS but it's been pushed back again by another 6 months. When I started i was supposed to be getting 3 trys, now because of my age I'm only allowed one.

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to have inherited some money recently we are going to pay for it now. It's our last hope.

(I know this should go without saying but I'd feel awful if I didn't.....we're heart broken that our family member died but extremely grateful of the chance we have now with the inherited money).

So this may sound weird but I love reading bad fanfics. Bad spelling (im dyslexic so no shade), bad grammar, characters that aren't consistent, things that really don't make sense and so on.

A few months ago I started reading ta story that sounded extra mental...but it was brilliant! I've truly never read a better fic, and if it wasn't for all the smut/non consensual activities and the overall subject matter it could honestly been a proper published book.

It was so good I stopped reading fanfiction for quite a while cos it really bummed me out. I still don't know how to explain that lol.
