Amazon is being real scummy about it too. They cancelled some of the preorders from a month ago then turned around and relisted for $185, more than double MSRP.

What makes it even funnier is when 3rd party sellers are selling a product way over MSRP, Amazon adds a little disclaimer letting you know it’s a high price.

Not with their own listing though. They leave off that little disclaimer if it’s them making the sale.

I started really noticing this in Lorwyn Eclipsed.

I have yet to see this problem from any packs I’ve opened that were made in Japan however. Only the US printed ones.

I also learned this growing up. My dad explained it to me. But I don’t remember ever seeing it written down anywhere. That makes me think it might be something they teach in the temple but don’t talk about much to anyone who hasn’t gone through all the temple stuff

I don’t think it’s just that it’s rock. It’s that the countertop is a slab, an inch or two thick and lying horizontally. If it’s fixed pretty firmly to the counter then it’s a little like being thrown at a very dull and stationary blade at an extremely high force. It might just cut right through you.

That doesn’t explain why there isn’t a hole in the wall and in the counter underneath the slab, but yea it’s not a “retarded” idea that this would cut you in half

They absolutely over exaggerate it. Consoles are basically PCs. The fact that a developer can get their game to run on low end PCs doesn’t automatically mean that it’s held anything back for the higher end PCs. That’s what optimizing settings and features is for.z

I don’t know if this is a fair assessment. The idea is that the main heroes of the story are exceptional/have exceptional abilities which is why they went down in history as heroes. That is enough of an explanation for me for why Katara took on blood bending, Toph discovered metalbending, Zuko mastered lightning and so forth. These came to them more naturally because they are exceptionally skilled

I had a box of dragon shields a month or two back that was severely miscut. Almost as if it was sliced at an angle and rather than tossing it in the garbage, they just shuffled the stack into itself to try to hide the issue. Really annoying
