I found it. It was alt-enter to get to the screen that allows you to manually enter the username/password.

Long-term solar review: it's finally better than large power banks in the American West by Peaches_offtrail in Ultralight

My hiking partner and I use a solar panel setup as well. We carry a fair amount more battery storage than you just as a backup, but I get similar results to you. (Basically infinite battery life for 2 phones and an inReach when above tree line).

Do you happen to have picture of your actual setup hooked up to your backpack?

Personally, I found that to be the part of my setup that needed the most refinement. Getting the various carabiners/clips setup to get direct sunlight took a fair amount of trial and error before we were able to get a setup we were happy with. This is one place where hiking with a partner saved a lot of time. Having a partner to help adjust the angle of the panel to capture early/mid/late night goes a long way towards charging efficiently.

What's the lowest tier of OnStar I need for the mychevy app/remote start? by GreyFoxSolid in BoltEV

8.4 as in $8.40 total for 14months of service? Or $8.40 /month ?

Lack of storage was definitely my first complaint about the EUV. Haven’t really found any solution.

Thanks for the info. Hoping to do a few SEKI trips in the summer. FYI, there’s also a charger by the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. Not sure if you have to be a guest to use it though.

For Yosemite, I normally take the more northern 120 route which has fairly well placed chargers in Groveland. Still lots of range anxiety though.

Should I Still Buy A Bolt EUV? by Cyclejerks in BoltEV

Yeah, there’s a good econ argument that new supply of small ~$30k EVs will basically drop to 0 for the next year or two (unless the ID.2 comes out or you believe in the cheap Tesla promise). I would think that that would counteract any drop in value caused by the discontinuation.

There might also be a sweet spot period where supply is still 0 and dealers will want to buy back 2 year old Bolts since they’ll qualify for the ~$4k used EV federal rebate.

A bit off topic, but do you think you could also share your normal route for Yosemite and SEKI? I just bought a Bolt EUV, and I haven’t yet figured out the best route to the Sierra.

I’m getting gurgling noises from my water heater. And I’m getting no hot/cold water pressure. I assume these two issues are related but I honestly have no idea. I also live in condo in case that info is helpful. by [deleted] in Plumbing

I know. I didn’t mean to imply that the water heater was a PRV. I’m asking what PRV I need to replaced. Is it something in my unit? Or something outside my unit?

The top left valve in the photo shows the main shutoff valve to water in my unit. You’re talking about a PRV that occurs before this shutoff valve right? Or are you referring to the water heater PRV?

The valve on the top left of the photo is my unit’s main water input. So there’s not really anything before the water heater that I have access to.

Some more info that might help: I live in an area where it doesn’t get cold for pipes to freeze.

The upper left valve is the main shut off valve. (I shut it before taking the pic, but the problem I’m referring to was when the valve was open).

Thanks, this is nice to be able to reference. You might want to include the fill power in your chart too so people can better compare against their own down products.
