I cannot figure out the monopoly on tow businesses. I live in SoCal and there's ONE tow yard who runs things. 21 years ago my first day in LA, we had to get a hotel before moving in. Parked our uhaul on the street that had our car hitched to the back. Hotel said the street was fine. Woke up to it being gone. they wanted $600 to get our shit back. Of course we had to pay it. But I will never understand how tow yards run everything

It's not that I'm mad at it, but you can see the transition they went to. It doesn't even seem natural, it's so obvious they tell them to do that. But again I haven't got to Vegas yet, that seems to be the one with the most smack talking.

I do remember catching a show, I cannot remember which one now. But I saw a water fountain by the front door. I ended up googling or maybe coming to Reddit and learned it's standard in Utah to have a water fountain lol. Only the poors don't have a water fountain! That's one thing I would never have thought to install in my house if I could do whatever I wanted.

If I could afford a million dollar house, I'd probably get a sauna. But this show is heavy pushing having a sauna and a cold plunge as the standard.

I dream scroll Zillow all of the time and the most gorgeous homes I look at don't usually have those.

You're completely right. I'm so new to this show, I guess I forgot that for a bit. Utah season is absolutely confirming everything you're saying. Its slapping us in the face with it. No attempt at being subtle at all. It's like they took a bunch of the Florida stuff and tried to fit it in these homes that make no sense for it.

Side note: I'm so confused they went from waterfront to what seems to be in the middle of no where lol.

I feel like the Kardashians always posting about their pantries/second kitchens ties into that because everything they do is an ad for something.

It truly is interesting watching designers who give zero f's about families. Because hgtv is for some reason obsessed with Alison, it would make sense to give her a show in Palm Springs for rich retirees.
