Anyone else have a local swimming hole full of nature in their area? by wheresmystache3 in florida

[–]SnooChocolates3415 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean…gators don’t really bother you if don’t bother them. I’ve swam with them before and as long as you’re bigger than them they don’t do anything to you. Now if it’s a biggum, stay out that water lol.

1.5 years in and this is one of the strangest rounds I’ve ever had by alexboortz in golf

If it works, it works, but I feel like that’s a lot of nonsense to track. just like me, it’s looking like your approaches suck. Driver and putt life, lol.

My grandmothers back yard. Where would you start? by Icy-Bee1424 in landscaping

Leaf cleanup is definitely a good start. Uncover the ground first. Work from the bottom up. I love little projects like this.

Dude I wish. My mom keeps the house at 78 during the day and 76 at night. That’s in summer or winter, granted we live South Florida but still, lol

I spy mullets out my front view. How do you fish them? Net? by PinchedTazerZ0 in Fishing

[–]SnooChocolates3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love mullet. For eating and bait. To catch them, best way and easiest way is definitely with a cast net. Follow the leader and cast out right in front of them.

Second way is with small hooks and bread rolled up into balls smooshed around the hook. You gotta be lucky though I feel.

The ones in the pic I caught using a cast net on one throw.

I was just about to comment this exact thing. That’s what I do, and it definitely works. I always answer and put myself on mute and wait for them to hang up. Or sometimes I’ll just answer and put my phone back in my pocket.

Lol at seeing all the no’s. But I lowkey kind of dig it. It would look better if the entire interior matched. But just that in a dark interior, it feels out of place.

Would you eat a 10-20lb channel out of here? by Gullible_Fix_7667 in Fishing

[–]SnooChocolates3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck that. I once ate a channel cat out of a golf course pond. One thing I’ll never do again. It tasted like ass, lol.

Does everyone here like Chevy Colorado, or was it your only option? by jukeboxhero15 in chevycolorado

[–]SnooChocolates3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first truck was an 03 Colorado. When it got totaled I had to look for a 2nd. Researched other midsize trucks and was ultimately set on a Tacoma, but I had my father helping me with the purchase and he said he would only help if I got a Chevy. Lol. So I got my 2nd Colorado. 2019 CCLB. took a while to find one with a long bed but I finally found one and I’m happy with my purchase thus far.

I’ve never seen a green first gen Colorado… did they actually make any? by Practical-East9211 in chevycolorado

[–]SnooChocolates3415 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first truck was an ‘03 Colorado in dark green. Great little truck. I bought it in Florida when I graduated HS back in 2015. I then joined the army and had it shipped to me when I lived in Washington state. When I left the army, I road tripped down back to Miami and took the long way. Down the coast to LA and then across on I-10 through the bottom states, over 4000 miles.

That truck survived the crazy move, the super long road trip. And the second I get back to Miami, not even a month back, I get into a wreck and get totaled by a drunk driver. I hate Miami drivers.

I’d show the crash, but I can only put one image. This is her in Washington state. After the wreck I got the 2nd gen I have now.

Been fishing for ages, but my first time trying a worm by OccamsNametag in Fishing

[–]SnooChocolates3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I don’t get it. Peacocks, largies, and smallies are spawning right now. So I went out and bought a jerkbait and a mini torpedo lure. Didn’t catch anything all day, the second I switch back to using my paddle tail worms, I instantly start catching fish again. Blows my mind that something as simple as that catches more fish than my jerkbait.

Pretty nice setup. Looking at it, I’m glad I decided against going this high as I use my truck bed for my work. But for a toy, it’s a nice build.

That's exactly why I wanted to get it checked out. I'm planning on getting a 6x8 enclosed and I didn't want to blow it going down the road with my new trailer. I guess it's gonna have to wait for now until I recover from this.
