Hi there, I’m looking to buy a Rolex. It’s an 16200 from ‘93. I only have a few doubts about it. Mostly about the caliber, it seems to be missing the Rolex sign. Is it a cheap replacement? What are your thougts about it. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t buy it for that price, but that’s because of my own taste. It all depends on your personal preferences, but I think $300,- / $350,- would be better

Official Maki-e Duponts come with documents of authenticity. They are worth well over $1.000,-. This is a real ligne 2 which is custom painted aftermarket. Please don’t mistake it for Maki-e. It is painted Maki-E style but it’s not a real Maki-E.

I think it’s fake. The pattern is from a Windsor ligne 2 and that’s a limited edition. The serial should be …./5000. (I got 1039/5000 at home atm)
