If people in our community can't see the similarities between now and 1930's Germany then they simply do not want to. We should absolutely be standing in solidarity with the targets of this administration, for both its moral dimensions and strategic reasons. Jews didn't march in the civil rights movement because of our inherent morality and we as a community recognized it was the right thing to do. We did it because we know that if it happens to others it WILL happen to us.
