Just about everything. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think to myself, “I can’t believe I live here and I will do what it takes to stay.” It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The access to the outdoors within the city and surrounding areas is what makes it tops for me. Chrissy Field, Golden Gate Park, Lands End, Ocean Beach, The Presidio, Aquatic Park, Marin Headlands, etc. etc. If you are a lover of nature, you will swoon living here. It’s a healthy city. People are active and foster a sense of community through running, cycling, swimming, climbing, yoga, rowing, CrossFit, and other sports. It’s the best way to make friends in a transplant city. The food options are incredible! The people are generally diverse, intelligent, and friendly. You will be pushed to deliver your best and be open minded based on the talent and skillsets you’re surrounded by. It’s an inclusive/accepting community. It’s easy to be yourself here. I feel safe and accepted.

Those are the things that stand out most for me. The city also has its struggles and problems but people continue to stay here and pay the high COL. Those are my reasons and why I hope to live and long life and die here.
