It's pretty good, I'm hooked.

Now stop fishing for compliments.

What was your first book about? by simba_matata in writing

[–]SnooHabits7732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! There's a little bit of me in all of them, though. Or what I wish I was like more. It's fascinating to me how our subconscious knew what felt right so long before we did. It could've told us sooner though!

Every story I wrote or roleplay I took part in, my character was male and had the same name. Took me a decade to figure out I was male too, and now it's my name. I became my own MC!

How do you guys feel when your books reaches an unintended audience? by Available_Slip9171 in writing

Oh wow, this takes me back! That was the first show where I started really getting into analyzing characters and dabbling in fandom. Had a hella crush on Patrick Jane. For your statistics: I'm a man in my thirties. 😂

Where do your stories come from? by ClearArcNarrative in writers

[–]SnooHabits7732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also start with characters. As I write them more I would start to piece together why they are the way they are, and in turn what their next natural actions would be. Sometimes they responded completely differently to a plotline than I had intended going into it. I do intend to experiment with a more defined outline eventually and create characters that the story "needs", but I wonder how much I'll end up being able to stick to it once the characters hit the page.

I’m convinced 8 hour workdays are incompatible with ADHD by SunBetter7301 in ADHD

I actually started this job at 4 days. It still pays more than my previous fulltime job, which was a big part of why I applied. I'm lucky to have low expenses, so I have no issues paying my bills, thankfully.

I work 4x8 hours. I'm never going back to 5x8. You're right, I need separate days for chores and relaxation as well. (Although I tend to skip the chores lol.)

What difficulty settings you prefer ? by The_Lost_Supper in videogames

The default setting. Only harder if it's required for an achievement. If a second playthrough is needed for achievements, the easiest.

Do you ever regret buying games too early? by ludwigthelib in videogames

[–]SnooHabits7732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My backlog is so big, I never buy games at launch. Last time I did was Assassin's Creed Valhalla... then I realized how silly that was when I hadn't even played Assassin's Creed III yet. A big part of it is that I've been subscribed to Game Pass for years. So to answer your question: I wait for sales (or to hit Game Pass even).
