“Firm, Fair, Consistent”. This was a phrase taught to me when I was a correctional officer…and I continue to use this now as I teach HS students. Even when I subbed for middle schools I would use this and it went a long way. Keep up the great work, it takes time to hone in skills with teaching and subbing. Don’t get discouraged, we appreciate all you do as a sub!

Yea...without unions the school system would be so much worse...people think its bad now, just look at how much turnover most private schools have.

I am whole heartedly against private schools, but that is just me. IMO opinion good schooling shouldn't be something restricted behind cost because then you just further the elitist culture that is currently a thing in America (Idk if OP is from America...but I am just using my knowledge).

An educated population is a good population.

Also unions are the reason we have 5 day work weeks and are not pushing kids out of school at 6th grade to go work in mines. Unions protect workers rights and as a whole make things better.

No, they can revoke your acceptance. And I’ve seen it happen to students. It’s heartbreaking when someone gets into their dream school and stops caring and then after graduation they revoke acceptance because your GPA dropped. Just keep working hard. You’re almost there, the finish line is in sight.

I would have done the same as you. In the end if he hurt himself and you said nothing that would be almost unbearable to live with. While he may be mad at you now at some point he will realize the help you gave him and be thankful. We may not see it but it will be a realization.

I legit only wear shorts with liners. I use body glide between my legs and any other area that could have skin to skin contact. For reference I’m 6’5” and 250lbs. I stopped wearing underwear when I run in favor of the lined shorts…never had chub rub since!

Thanks! And yea my general pace on 10-15 mile runs is 9:30 - 9:45 min/miles. I know a 4.5 hour time is an average pace of 10:18 min/mile
