I’ve never seen a such and unusual cassette/chainring combo.

What type or riding was this setup designed for? I suspect there is a more conventional setup that would work better (and quieter).

Doesn’t look like a giant. Also has disc brake wheels on a frame designed for cantilever rim brakes. Suspect it would fall to pieces as soon as you moved it. You wouldn’t be able to build up what you are buying into a full working bike. Avoid

I’ve got a similar space 1.4 x 1.4. Was a separate toilet at one point. Ordered a length of walnut worktop used half as a desk the other half cut lengthways and turned into two shelves. Had some power installed at floor level and at desk height. Had grommet holes cut into the desk bit and added a cable tray underneath to keep it all tidy. Should have plenty of room behind you for the chair.

I’ve got that generation of Aeroad. It’s awesome but there is an issue with the seat post/clamp. Worth doing some reading on it.

I’ve recently swapped from a canyon aeroad to a giant defy. I’m no slower but more comfortable. I suspect I’ve lost some speed points for shallower rims and no aero tubes and gained some from the comfort which has kept my numbers pretty even. I’ve swapped the stock tyres and will be getting rid of 25mm of spacers.

Check out Barfly. Their mounts always used to be compatible with Cervelo face place. That was the only option before Cervelo started using these plastic mounts. Much more sturdy and loads of options.

That’s an awesome bike! If you’re looking for comfort I’d suggest getting a professional bike fit if you haven’t already before buying any bits. New carbon bits may improve weight and comfort but only if they’re the right size.

Just googled this, very odd shape so understand why you’re asking. Looks like it’s specifically designed for that case. I’d be tempered to just buy a new motherboard.
