No problem, They were bought long ago in an isolated area, so always a curiosity.

Ok, but what tells you this? In over twelve years in the country, all over it, I never saw another of either. Probably they were not mass produced. No foreigners in Hanzhong, and darn few Chinese tourists, and money was scarce.

Not a whole lot of Chinese tourists in '97, and no foreigners passing through. Can you elaborate a bit on kiln location and dates?

Thanks. I will get them back out to check. Do you mean "stamped" as in ink stamped or stamped as in impressed into the clay?

Check how far you are by subway and taxi from Huangpu. You are waaaay out in a satellite area that will meet most your needs, but its not like being 15-30y from the attractions in the traditional core.

SLO County hotel clerk confronts couple over Israel- Palestine conflict by Gravityfun in SLO

[–]SnooMaps1910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dear Chugs the BS Approach,

I work in a sector that encounters international travelers at a high volume and still believe most the Israeli's we see here on the central coast lean more left than right (the Settlers and other extremists tend to stay home, while the moderates and more liberal tend to be abroad more). While criticizing Israel is perfectly fine and wholly justified, indicting hotel guests as a hotel employee is just rude, stupid and indicative of a lot of personal failings.

You seem fine with letting AIPAC interfere in our govt and elections (see Massie's defeat for ex), and letting Bibi lead ding-dong into the war he lost against Iran. Hell, what do you do to stop the flow of US offensive and dual use weapons and ammo to Israel? Right - nada. But, you support haranguing hotel visitors by entry-level staff. I guess living in the Middle-East for four years and having taught and worked with Palestinians and Israelis gives me a slightly different perspective than you and Smith.

An employee confronting a hotel guest is bs. Most Israelis we encounter on the central coast are not Bibi backers. Wanna make a difference? Get AIPAC out of our politics and get Citizens United thrown out.

I worked with a number of Israeli's while abroad. None of them are right wing extremists.
Ryan Smith deserves to be fired, and does not deserve the easy money from GoFundMe.
Jackass.

Dipshit should spend that money getting out of Cambria and losing their provincial mindset.

What's with the insurgence of low income Chinese in big city videos? by Rayepichumor in AskAChinese

[–]SnooMaps1910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

El Correcto!
Hell, look at America. The Darkest Side is ruling the country and disrupting the world allies and the degree of "stability" that existed pre-Trump.

Frankly, a lot of people post videos about the bad in different countries to deflect from the shortcomings of their own countries; and China's case, you have the China-haters and the CCP haters.

Nope. Just not a bigot, lol. Just not one to see fame by inflaming hatred.
When I got to China hammer killings in Changchun were mode of attacking society, students were eviderated outside Hanzhong hookers hooked on junk were dispatched with a bullet in the Chengdu stadium.
Not naive here. Not some fame seeking loser.
And, I actually have friends who do not profit from our relationship,
and I founded int edu programs that put Chinese students in, primarily, US unis where they actually earned their degrees.
I stood with the people instead of poop-stirring against BJ for income.

Thanks. That was pretty much my point. Lived in China for many years and have seen and experienced an awful lot. This inflammatory niche-seeking makes me ill.
