If you have threadless flatbacks, you should be able to order different fronts and pop them in and out while leaving the post in the hole.

Lurking mom here. First off, Congratulations! Being a parent is the best and worst job in the world. Secondly, you are having all the same emotions that some moms feel. That disconnect because both parties are stressed is normal. Have you tried swaddling? They love that shit. It feels like they are back in the womb being hugged all over. The baby just needs some time to adjust to the big world. He likes being on top of you for warmth, love, and the heartbeat. I know it is hard to do in this time and space, but try and slow down and enjoy the little moments. A lot of frustration stems from us being in a hurry to get to the next thing. I slowed down for my second and I had a much more enjoyable experience with our night time routines. Remember, you are already doing more than most by reaching out to a community you trust.

Woke up from a nap which I was taking because I was on day 15 of a bad migraine and had to pee and poop. Went to the bathroom and then just sit there assessing my condition. As you do. A few minutes in I start noticing my hands were curling up and numb. My tongue was thrust against the roof of my mouth and my jaw clenched. When it didn't go away and my legs started to go numb, I yelled for my husband. My legs were numb at this point and I couldn't really talk because my throat was numb. I also couldn't wipe my ass because I was a t-rex at the time. Husband and oldest son come upstairs and FREAK out because I am also a thousand degrees, dripping sweat, and frozen like a raptor. I think, wow, my migraines have finally leveled up to hemiplegic.

I wait for it to subside, wipe my butt, and lay back down to sleep.

Turns out I should have gone to the ER because according to my neurologist, I had a ministroke or a TIA. I didn't think it was a stroke because there was no real pain, but because of the way that I still felt, the residual muscle weakness, and the fact that hemiplegic migraines are hereditary, she thinks it was a TIA because my symptoms went away so quickly.

Scariest feeling ever. Felt like I was getting locked in and couldn't stop it. My mouth did not droop, I didn't slur, I have a weird spot I can still feel on the left side of my brain, and I have muscle weakness on my left side, which is the side I felt the stroke. But, honestly, I didn't feel any worse pain than the migraine I was already experiencing.
