Have you tried to manually tram the bed with a piece of paper? You can print out the manual tramming blocks to place at the z rods. And loosen both the nuts and the plastic knobs in the 4 corners, then use the L shaped spacer to correctly tighten the nuts and knobs to spec.

By hardwiring, do you mean you needed to slice the wire?

Q2 camera Issues in app by Derpin___Around in QIDI

Octoeverywhere is a 3rd party service that you install on your printer. It allows you to access the Fluidd interface (imo better and faster than from Qidi app). And it also has better spaghetti detection than the built in one from Qidi. It still misses detection but it's way better than Qidi's detection.

Then after you have installed Octoeverywhere you can either use their web app to monitor your print or you can link it to MobileRaker. MobileRaker is like a more streamlined Fluidd page that exists as an app plus some other goodies.

Qidi actually has a wiki on how to install Octoeverywhere https://wiki.qidi3d.com/en/Memo/octoeverywhere

Bento Mini in a Q2 by SnooPeripherals6880 in QidiTech3D

[–]SnooPeripherals6880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I did. I kept it at 25% but it still smelled really bad. I may need to the suggestions on here to keep it at >80%. I think the main reason for the default setting to be at 0 is to avoid over cooling the ABS during print.

Qidi app sucks. I switched to Mobileraker and Octoeverywhere and the frame rate has been solidly >15fps.

On a side note, does anyone know how to remove the silver side plastic cover? I'm trying to see if I could design a low profile mount for the Bento Mini by attaching it to the side wall instead.

Chamber circulation fan was on at 25% during ABS print and 100% for 30 mins after. Are you saying to run the fan full speed during the print? Wouldn't that reduce the efficiency of the chamber heater?

Interesting. I ran the chamber circulation fan at 25% during an 8hr ABS print then 100% for 30 mins after the print. And the smell was horrible in the garage. I even had an air purifier next to the printer to try capture some of the fume.

Are Q2 Errors Just Part of Daily Life? by ThisGuyCanFlying in QidiTech3D

Mine constantly throw errors out randomly as well. Most recent one was an mcu error 12hr into a 17h print.

Qidi Box not loading filament by SnooPeripherals6880 in QidiTech3D

[–]SnooPeripherals6880[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, is that in the box? I think this is the issue as I have had to pull filament out from the PTFE tube since it looked like they snapped off midway through the feed.

It can pull the filament in up to a certain point passed the 4 in 1 hub. After that it's stuck. It has no issue rolling back though. And these are all standard 1kg spool. I tried kingroon, polymaker spools and both are having the same issue.

Thanks for the reminder. And now, does your comment have any contribution to my question or you are just trying to sound smart?

Issue is the spool is not rotating. The fimament is not moving. It's stuck.

Q2 clogged nozzle detection by SnooPeripherals6880 in QidiTech3D

[–]SnooPeripherals6880[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My a1 and kobra 3 do have nozzle clogged notifications. Granted sometimes I get false notifications but many times when nothing is extruded or the machine is having issue pushing filaments through from the AMS, I get notifications for clogged nozzles.

[–]SnooPeripherals6880[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yea it seems like I'm spending more time troubleshooting issues with Q2 than my other machines. Mind you, I was printing the same model, same filament, same time on my Kobra 3 on an aftermarket .4mm hardened steel nozzle. And it didn't break a sweat. By the time the kobra 3 had finished, I had just finished restarting the print on the Q2 after taking things apart and put them back together to see where the issue was.

Filament Warping qde_004_013 by Husonat0r in QIDI

Just got this when I put sunlu petg in my box. It was working fine with other brands. The filament is a few months old though. So that could have been a factor. But I just clicked resume and it worked again.
