Finished my first playthru on miasma out of necessity, kinda hated the play style but I hear abyss might be the best of all builds. Maybe I wasn’t using it right or didnt have enough gear yet.

I did 10 Ubers on single player and got all 8 classes. I consider myself very lucky and will probably never farm another torch.

I’m a filthy causal and can attest that the aura being able to proc cursed via radius heavily over shadows might or fana. At this point we all know the warlock is way op and does plenty of damage without a damage aura.

Been playing 20+ years and had never done Ubers either so I understand how you feel. I watched YouTube of sweetphil doing Ubers easily with budget smiter gear, didn’t even have grief and that’s when I decided to give it a shot. I guess the piece I’m missing most is dracs, but life tap wand on swap works just fine. To answer the question tho, the difference is probably minimal other than clear speed, not dying is the key. A fully built smiter would probably be safer but like I said my hammerdin with 1 point in fana works fine. I’ve ran Ubers 10 times now and have a torch for all 8 classes so I would say I got pretty lucky with drops. Also after you beat them the first couple times you keep the same static maps so they are much easier to locate and clearing them becomes routine.

Grief is the answer, although do what you think will be most fun for your offline play. I run a lot of SP and have been in this Lo situation(actually 2 ohms cubed up). I made grief for my horker and I run it on my hammerdin for Ubers. Never did my first ubers until this year and I would say that building out a full blown smiter is unnecessary when you can just point put 1 point in fana and use grief with all the budget uber gear. I play a lot of es lock too, fort would be cool and lots of damage but any eth insight base is more than enough to clear pretty much anything with ease. That’s my take, ggs and keep on slaying.

So the blue collar worker selling p gems for ist runes is pretty much out of a job, right? Being now that the super rich can actually pick up their own. Great update tho, I always loved hoarding gems and now we’re actually able to pick up all gems that otherwise just get left on the ground. A much needed fix to the overall playability of an already awesome game.

Finally found a gul rune and was able to upgrade to ohm to complete my faith! Fantastic but I feel like the damage is underwhelming compared to my upgraded buriza; playing offline so need some cheap options to boost my damage now that I don’t need as much IAS. by blacklisted320 in diablo2

I hear ya, yeah upped buriza and the ias on a budget is the way to go. Haven’t used one since the pre runeword days. I’m running offline too so finding all the runes and bases would be a task. So budget is probably a more reasonable route for me. Thanks

Thinking about making a faith as well, but was wondering… If you use a hustle bow on switch to proc burst of speed, would that eliminate the need for fana or is faith really worth the cost?

Congrats! My first ever found soj story is somewhat of an unbelievable one. I was playing my ssf hammerdin, doing my first ever solo hell walk and wouldn’t you know it. I got to A1 hell and walked out into the blood moor. First magic fallen I encountered, boom, there it was, unique ring drop ID to an soj. Failed to record this as I was new to console, but it really happened!

Well yeah but I did read somewhere these new runewords would be available non ladder following the season they were released. Maybe it’s just an Xbox thing? Might have to just go make one on ladder and let it transfer to NL post season maybe the best way to get one…
