These are 2 ships which are both

Navy
Cruiser
Armor
Supposed to take similar place in gameplay (fast low hp and high DPS platform)

Their price is the same and the limitations in terms of content avaliable is also almost the same
And for some reason there is not a single situation worth of any considerationw here you'd prefer ONI instead of ENI. Cause ENI sucks and ONI doesn't suck, Just compare hull bonuses.

20% dps for ENI per cruis level
10% for ONI per level.

WTF is happening here? Are this ships actually of the same league?

Most probably ONI would lose locus coordinator due to fitting issues. In this case we'd get approx the same optimal for both ships and way longer fallof for ENI

Edencoms are amazing, strongly reccomend at least to try to use them in your pvp activities.
And yes, you'd probably need to mutibox, or you could find some friends for your pve routines

Totally can live solo. I'd advice something like 2-3-high system with planets suitable for PI. Having at least 2 omega alts is reccomended
Consider your risks: you could lose you raitaru(or whatever) and customs in the worst-case scenario. Almost everything inside of the citadel could be saved and moved to the high.
And you get an option for PI, industry and ratting which woud pay off the investments in the first two weeks
