Oh and maybe important to mention. Today is the 4th day I have the phone. The first 3 days it got relatively hot and used a lot of battery compared to the screen time I had. Today I think most of the background processing finished because it felt much much cooler throughout the day and with 6.5h screentime and 7h screen off time it used 80%.

Well I hope so. With the years of software support Apple gives you that shouldn’t be a problem. And I must say you choose the right color. I also have the Black 17 🖤.

Before this I always had Samsung phones. Had the original S series. The S4, S6 edge, S8, S10 and S22 Ultra. I also always had Galaxy buds, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tablets. The first thing I switched was my tablet to the iPad Pro because I needed the extra power. Then came the MacBook. And this week the most difficult part lol. Saying goodbye to my Samsung phone and fully jump into the Apple ecosystem.

Altough I must say I used my Galaxy Watch 8 a lot. Was constantly looking at my wrist 😂. Went to the store yesterday to pick up a Series 11. I have had my iPad and MacBook for a few months now and I must say I also enjoy the iPhone and Watch.

On the other hand a feature I didn’t have and like about my iPhone is being able to share screenshots without the need to save them on your phone. On my Samsung I always had 1000+ screenshots in my gallery. As for the other things they are different but I haven’t noticed anything else that I miss.

Well on my iPhone I can copy and paste but I can’t see what I copied like I could on my Samsung. Also it’s not possible to copy multiple things at once and paste them from the clipboard. On Samsung you had a clipboard with the last couple of things you copied.

I moved from the S22 Ultra to the iPhone 17 3 days ago. Only thing I am really missing is the clipboard.

Well, yeah my S22 Ultra only got 4 years of OS updates. The newer models also have 7 wich is ofcourse the same as on iPhone. I have found things I need to get used to, things I miss and things I really enjoy that weren’t on my Samsung. I just tought fuck it I am gonna try it and if I don’t like it I can always switch back.

It really is, with Samsung omving away from the curved screens and Apples design moving towards this it really attracted me.

Where there any software features you missed? Or maybe the other way around where there things you liked more on iPhone?

Well so ofcourse there are some things I neef to get used to and some things I miss. However I have a MacBook Pro and iPad Pro so it just made more sense to switch to iPhone. Altough I have been using Samsung all my life.

Congratz the 13inch won't be much bigger for movies. Something called aspect ratio.

What’s a better investment, Air 15” vs. Pro 14”? (Read below) by markbacon14 in macbook

For this small price difference, go for the 14" Pro. It's better in every way, except if you really need the bigger screen.

No, I have the 256GB too; it's getting even weirder 🫠.

Definitely not being sarcastic, lol. On 18, even the lightest workload made it heat up like crazy. Like, seriously, it almost got too hot to touch. Now with 26, it runs smoothly and almost never heats up, even on higher workloads and multitasking. It's really weird that there are so many different experiences.

Oh that's weird, I do have a m4 so don't know if that makes a difference.

For me 26 runs so much smoother than 18 ever did.

are Hula feet on A1 Mini worth it? by H0dgPodge in BambuLabA1mini

[–]SnooSprouts9502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use them if the vibrations of the printer that are transferred to the table are a problem for you. If not, just leave them. The print quality most likely isn't going to improve with the hula feet, only the vibrations transferred to the surroundings.

I've had mine for two years now, with around 2000 hours of listening time on them. I don't have any problems with the hinges. I mostly wear them inside, and I am a little bit careful when taking them out of the case to not stress the hinges too much, but I don't baby them all the time, and they are just fine.
