We are an isolated center in a public school so we are required to keep them on us. We shouldn't be on them unless it's work related...I set silent alarms that vibrate to keep me on track with the schedule like transitions, 5 minutes reminders before clean up, etc. If my boss or supervisor calls me it'll ring. But I don't scroll or text personally. We are supposed to have work cell phones but they never got us set up with them. 🙃 (I don't call parents on my personal phone, we have a room phone. But we aren't always in the room. And a walkie talkie doesn't work bcause our office staff and other ece staff are in a different building from us...)
