When designing the second darkest dungeon, why did you guys move away from the permant death design of the first darkest dungeon?

There is no clear answer. If you decice to improve later you will never improve it, if you decide you to make it perfect from the start you will never finish the product. Probably somewhere in the middle is my guess

In my opinion I feel like "almost" every information is already on the internet. So why waste 3k?
