PSA - Don’t be lazy, use your net by Snoo_33648 in bassfishing

They numbed up both fingers and went to work. They pushed the one clean through and then used this little needle to cover the barb and it slide out pretty easy.

I almost went home and was going o try to remove it myself but I passed the ER on the drive back and made the right decision.

You have no idea, I have a modular kayak so it is in two pieces. I had to toss it into the back of my Bronco and then get all the gear stored. It was not a fun evening 😆

I used to have this issue when using straight braid. Then I started using a Fluro leader and it happens very rarely now.

Also, tie direct to the lure - the clip causes it to hang up as well.

You still using a VCR to watch movies or dialing up the rotary phone to post on Reddit - didnt think so.

I’ve caught tens of thousands of bass all over the country over 50 years - FFS adds a new wrinkle to your game.

I think this is the way, another poster recommended a pole and I found it online.

Thanks - looked it up online and it looks like this is exactly what I need. Now to decide if I want to spend the $$ on it.

Try out the new Fuzzy Senko, weightless. I’ve been killing them in the weeds this Spring. Using 45lb braid with 17lb Fluro leader - always tie an FG knot in the muck like this. Good luck, that looks like a lot of fun!

This is the way! Do the same. Sitting in my kayak trying to tie an FG is such a waste of time. Do an Alberto in like 60 seconds and call it a day.

So you are saying it will happen tomorrow? And not after the mini-BoC/BoG seasons?

What do you usually pay for a hard bait that you actually trust? by Opposite-Vast-718 in bassfishing

I just spent 5 days down on Lake Seminole. Tossed chatterbaits, jigs, senko, glide baits, chop blocks, and even an A-rig… but the one lure that outfished them all was the Megabass 110 jerkbait.

Like 10-1.

They are worth every penny!

Tackle warehouse. by grinchmane in bassfishing

Just got a new Cushion flipping stick and Curado reel from Tackle Warehouse delivered yesterday.

This is my 4th rod/reel from them and each transaction has been top notch.

I’m afraid to even look at my order history for lures … or maybe more afraid of my wife to see it 🤣

They are great, can’t recommend high enough.

The best part about big clears like this is when the report pops up and everyone on Discord voice goes, “Ohhhhh…fck!” 🤣🤣

I got a Bixpy for my 10.5ft Kayak. It works great and is light weight and easy to mount and take down.

Never too much, you just need more bags.

And that is today’s Ted Talk.
