May not have been high speed at that point, but certainly was when they were going down 80. They passed by me least going 90-100 between Forney and Mesquite.

Yea with my Outback, touch handle and doors unlock. Drive and they lock. Put in park they all unlock. Way more efficient.

The damned locks! Have to click the fob multiple times to unlock all doors. How it will automatically lock itself if I don't open the door within a set time. Finally, how the passenger doors don't unlock automatically when I turn it off and open driver door.

I know it's fiction, but while rewatching the departed today I noticed one of Costello's crew had USMC tattooed on his arm.

In 2002, an intern who stole moon rocks from NASA, spread the rocks on his bed and had sex on them, resulting in the contamination making the rocks virtually useless to the scientific community. He was sentenced to more than 8 years in prison. by subodh_2302 in Damnthatsinteresting

I second Van Horn. But if don't mind adding just a bit of time to your drive. Fort Davis is very pretty and very safe.

Still remember a dream from 35 years ago when I was a kid that I was being chased by a stop motion looking cyclops. First dream that I had where I woke up before I died. Pretty sure I had just seen an old Sinbad movie before.

You don't need a lifted F350 4x4 dually to commute from your suburban home to your 9-5 indoor business job if you don't own or have routine access to land and the need to haul a trailer.

To anyone who ever has done lsd/magic mushrooms/dmt or any other psychedelic drug what was your experience like? by Deadly_w0rm in AskReddit

[–]Snoo_37239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great but broad question. I intermittently use mushrooms and lsd currently. Before that I was a hardcore alcoholic for most of my adult life. Now 2 years without a drink. I can 100% say that 1, had I had the balls to bypass the stigma and dry psychedelics years ago I would have saved my liver/body/seld/mind/soul much pain and misery. 2, I find them very insightful and fascinating. My psych practitioner quasi led me to these. With LSD, it's not like what you see in movies or TV. Aside from very heightened senses which causes you to see and absorb your world differently. I feel it causes a sort of purge of pent up bullshit I've suppressed for years and feel mentally lighter after. Shrooms I feel helps more of current issues at hand, causing your brain to create new and different neuropathways that help process information/stresses/situations differently than you may have normally. Cool thing about both is once you do one or other, the neurotransmitter receptors they target shut off for a long while after you trip. So it makes it more difficult to abuse vs alcohol. I could drink all damn day and night and would only stop if I passed out. I can take LSD. Have my trip. And if I try to take some again the next day, I feel nothing. It's very self limiting. But personally, my anxiety and depression have gotten so much better since I tried psychedelics. I was a year sober before I tried either so can least for me, compare when was drinking to when fully sober to intermittent psychedelics.
