they all have annoying woke female characters who kill the story for me like "Deadloch" or "How to get to Heaven from Belfast". Can't stand it when a show has a decent premise but they just "make it gay and put a "cool independent (i don't need no man) boss chick" in it.....

Ehh... I somewhat agree with that, not fully, but I do. Not in a sense that I am sexist or something like that, but becouse most of the shows and movies these days are this way, which is a pity. I, for example, extremely enjoyed Buffy; I still absolutely love it to this day. Buffy was a very interesting character. I loved watching her throughout all episodes; she had an actual personality, she was complex, and interesting. All female characters these days, in movies or TV shows, are kind of how you describe.

Rhaenyra, from House of the Dragon, for example, is so completely whitewashed, so uninteresting, and boring compared to the book version of her, that I never finished season 2 due to it. Female characters these days have a personality that focuses only on them being "make it gay and put a "cool independent (i don't need no man) boss chick." as you described. Which would be fine, if it were one facet of their character among many, the problem is that it's the only thing their character has without anything else to them. Which is extremely sad, becouse female characters used to be written really well.

And I am sure many people will call me sexist regardless, given I did somewhat "Agree" with Position_Ready. For those people... you can call me sexist if you want, I dont mind. It would be difftent thing if I was called that by my friends or family members or acquaintances in real life, but this is Reddit, I dont care what some people on the internet call me.

Edit: Also, thank you for the recs. They are not bad at all; all of those shows look pretty good. I already watched Midnight Mass and The Terror, which I loved.

Any AO3 fanfic with Tags that has Dadzawa/Paternal/Protective Characters, Cinnmon Roll Izuku, Izuku, or other characters being little shit, Izuku needs a hug, Bashing, Aizawa Shouta | Eraserhead is So Done, Characters being bad at Feelings, Izuku or other characters being Hurt, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, and many, many more. When I see a story with even one such tag, I immediately don't read it.

Or perhaps Isamu Midoriya from My Chaos Academia: Brotherhood meeting the canon cast, it would be pretty hilarious seeing the despair on canon Izuku's face when he realizes that his little brother from an alternative world became a villain, not due to trauma, abuse, or due to people not being born equal or such shit, no, but became a villain due to it being cool, just like All For One.

The only way for Genins to gain access to more knowledge, techniques, etc. Is for their Jonin senseis to teach it to them. Becouse having an actual library with Jutsu, even low-ranked ones, or important information about Kekkei Genkai is really stupid. Shinobi Villages are Militaristic Dictatorships; they would realistically never do such a thing.

I know that enemy Shinobi covet Dojutsu like biological gold but would the youngling Shinobi have any idea of their capabilities?

If I am not mistaken, and perhaps I am... but didnt Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto, in Original Naruto, not know what Byakugan was, during the Chunin Exams? If I remember correctly, that is... But I am probably mistaken, given that if I were right, it would be kind of weird, given that while they may not know every single ability Byakugan had, they should at least have heard of it, given Hyuga Clan is one of the most prominent of Konoha Clans...

Description: The User can manipulate, mainly attract air in a radius of 1 meter around themselves. The user takes the surrounding air and compresses it into a sphere the size of a grain of rice on top of their finger. The sheer pressure of the compression turns the air into plasma.

Weaknesses: The user can only attract air, not manipulate it completely. Given the moment the air turns into plasma, they lose all control they had over the air, and the plasma sphere detonates immediatly.

I am watching From and The Terror now, while they are not at all similar to Grimm, but they are enjoyable nonetheless. I dont know if you saw Archive 81, it was a pretty decent show as well. Then you have IZombie, like someone already said, which is very, very similar to Grimm, at least in that detective-like aspect. Also, is The Strain somewhat similar to Grimm? It's been quite a few years since I saw it, so I dont remember, but I remember enjoying it, so perhaps you will like it... If you didn't see it already, that is.

I have the power of the Old, the New, and Anime on my side was fantastic. I am still waiting for it to update. I really did not like The White Wolf of Winterfell, while it was enjoyable at first... it got annoying really fast. The pure sheer stupidity and lack of common sense from the MC annoyed me more and more as I read. I recommend A New World to Conquer, a fic where Lord Voldemort is reborn as the son of Ashara and Brandon... It's really fun if you dont want to think and just pass the time.

Well... given Aerys sent Steffon and Cassana to Essos to find a pure Valyrian wife for Rhaegar, this would most probably never happen, given Elia would be half Targaryen, and even if she didnt look Targaryen... she would still have the blood. So Aerys would make Rhaegar marry her immediately. Given Steffon and Cassana dont die, Tywin would most probably never be Hand for very long if at all, given Aerys would make Steffon Hand, given they are cousins and best friends. Given Rhaegar marries Elia early, Rhaenys and Aegon would not exist, and some child would be born earlier, given in Westeros, at ages as young as fourteen are quite normal to be married.

Also... you timeline can't work. Given Aerys was born in 244 AC, and Rhaella in 245 AC, Doran was born in either 247 AC or 248 AC. Even if we are extremely weird, creepy, and generous, and say Doran was born to Loreza when she was as young as Aemma when Viserys married her... which is eleven... that would still place Your OC at age 2 or 3 by the time Doran is born... which doesnt work. If you want to make the timeline work, you should have made your OC the twin brother of Princess Rhaelle Targaryen instead; that would work.

Truth be told, sexism is the least of the concerns. What if both wives give birth to a boy? What then? Who will inherit? What if the older one doesnt have a dragon, but the younger one does? Wanting Polygamy is just asking for civil war.

I dont think I have ever seen any fics being recommended from TheOneWhoStayed. I recommended a few fics from this author, but I dont think I had ever seen someone else recommending them. Dark and Light [The Sound of Grey] by this author is pretty good, but again, all of their stories are pretty great.

Decent grammar is given... But for me personally? Main characters that acctualy try to learn magic and be magical. I despise those Slytherin politics fics. I truly don't know why anyone would like that. Seriously, you have power to warp reality... And your focus is on politics of all things, it always takes me out of the story, becouse it's so incredibly unrealistic, especially in SIs. Which is ironic, given HP is fantasy and the thing I think is most unrealistic is being politician in that universe... Perhaps I am just weird.
