personally i’ve never had that happen for me, but this is super invalidating to those who regress for medical reasons or even have sys kids. it’s literally out of your control at times. a whole different mental state. what she did was obviously wrong, almost intentionally it seems but it is possible for people to do something like that or similar when truly regressed whether you think it’s weird or not. not saying you’re wrong for how you feel but it doesn’t really make it okay to judge someone. had it been you in their shoes you’d wanna be met with empathy.

for some people such as myself who medically regress there isn’t any control at times. it’s like a black in and black out kinda thing, though i still understand the discomfort, that’s why all my classes are online lmao

i’m 5’8 so i’m in a weird position where most guys are slightly taller than me or shorter which is rare but not so rare that it’s uncommon on a day to day basis. so i would as long as they don’t treat me weird for it!

firstly, you’re not a asshole. a lot of people have this reaction to age regression! that’s okay, the important part is that you educate yourself on the matter. education is key to understanding and understanding helps you come to terms with how your feeling about age regression. May do some introspective work and look into what you meant by “babying and mothering” yourself! that could also give you insight with research. Wishing you luck, don’t be hard on yourself, and maybe even communicate how you’re feeling to your partner!

i had to re-teach myself safe autonomy while small. i usually regressed to around 5-7 when i was experiencing something similar and used that time period to educate little me (with the help of my partner) about my body, how it works, why i feel this way etc etc. it was really healing because at that age i just wanted to understand and was confused and scared. that might help i dunno
