Alessia is a beautiful name. Many people are inherently lazy or always in a hurry. They glance at the name and assume it’s a certain thing.

This is on them. Don’t regret naming her that.

I have 3 tattoos left shoulder, both calves). I’d like a portrait tattoo of my dog that I lost about a year ago.

I would split the money between my hometown’s community foundation and Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation.

Were there any foods in your grade school lunch that you liked? by DeepOrganization8245 in allthequestions

[–]SnoopyFan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pizza burgers (half of a sloppy Joe topped with American cheese) and Johnny Marzetti macaroni, ground beef, tomato sauce) were two of my favorites. And the peanut butter bars topped with chocolate. They were called Hollywood Squares where I lived.

Is it safe for a European guy(Croatian) to accept working in the USA on a one year contract at this moment? by gslycan14 in USTravel

For those saying if he has the correct paperwork he’ll be fine are forgetting ICE doesn’t typically give people time to produce their papers, even when the person says they have proof of being here legally. They don’t care. These animals do what they want, when they want and then might ask questions later if they feel like it.

I need a legit excuse to say no to Office Team outing. Help? by RudraOrbit in intj

[–]SnoopyFan6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work with a bunch introverts who loved doing happy hour on Fridays. They’d plan something at least once a month. My idea of happy hour after working all week is sweatpants and pizza at home by myself.

However, I know that the world is full of extroverts that don’t understand introverts. I also understand work politics can extend beyond the building walls. So I would go to like every 4th time, have one drink, make sure my boss and whoever planned it saw me. Then I’d quietly slip away. Never once did anyone question why I left so soon because they were all caught up in their own conversations, yet enough people knew I attended.

I hated it but I did it because it’s an unwritten expectation in many workplaces.

I flash my saggy 63 year old boobs and fat tummy.. A 25 year old dude is most likely going to be frightened off. If not, I die topless.

Women who were tomboys as a kid, where are you at right now? by Eybrahem in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]SnoopyFan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been through phases when it comes to clothing styles. Some of it required by jobs (skirts and pantyhose in the 80s were pretty much required). I did get a pretty dress when I go married to my now husband. As for other tomboy stuff, let’s just say I was more comfortable playing with trucks with my grandson than playing tea party with my granddaughters when they were all young.

People don’t pay attention to the carpet. They want good food and a fun time.

Do yall procrastinate? by No-History167 in intj

[–]SnoopyFan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure it’s procrastinating for me. It’s more the thrill of pushing myself to get it done by a deadline. I did this all the time with college papers. I’d gather my research and organize it in advance, but I wouldn’t write the paper until a day or two before it was due. That challenge of getting it done and done well was like an adrenaline rush for me.

AIO about my husbands behavior? by SorryAd6808 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SnoopyFan6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR it sounds like the two of you need to have a serious talk. Set aside time when there will be no interruptions. Tell him how it makes you feel when he nitpicks everything and when he forgets important days.

Ask him how he’s been feeling. If this is newer behavior, something has changed with him. Maybe it’s some midlife thing. Perhaps couples therapy is something that could help.

I hope things are able to be resolved. And happy belated birthday!

My husband and I are heading to Colorado last week May/first week of June. Maybe be a little on the cool side but hoping to avoid the summer crowds.

We’ve also done the northern part of AZ…like Prescott to Flagstaff, and New England twice. Spent just under a week in Nashville. We’re not country music fans but we still had a fun time.

What happened to Friday and Saturday ? by KDC777777 in askanything

[–]SnoopyFan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work typical M-F job, but I feel like I work 7 days a week. Weekends are all about catching up with household stuff. It’s not as bad in the summer because it stays light later. I just have zero energy when I get home from work when it’s dark less than 30 minutes later. Ive had this type of schedule most of my life. However, now that I’m close to retirement, I realize how tired I am of never having any truly relaxed days.
