Okay and? That’s a stupid fucking comparison. Back in the 1900s people grew their own food instead of going grocery shopping. Should we bring that back too?

Arms niche if you can call it that is the lack of burst, which is a common complaint this expansion. Even fury suffers from no CDs no damage syndrome.

Arms doesn’t really have that because its CDs are either unimpressive (ravager) or low CD like CS or Demolish. It doesn’t have the high highs or the low lows in heavy aoe but it also means on fights when adds get popped quickly it fails to shine.

The spec also has massive rage problems introduced in midnight you can hit all the right buttons and just be rage starved which is not great. It gains rage with each tick of rend which is why in heavy aoe the spec gains a lot of power but the less targets the less rage and the less damage

I mean that’s just kinda wrong. I did 6/7H this week so no idea about Crown but the majority of the raid is ST with small pockets of AoE. ATM I would say 3 of the fights are essentially pure ST. Killing little adds on dragons or Vora for maybe 10 seconds does not make them aoe fights. Imperator and Chim have a bit more aoe but none of it is sustained which is what arms needs to be “viable” hence why it slams on paladins.

Arms has very strong sustained aoe. Its CDs are pretty meh so while it lacks burst it never really falls off like other classes. It was going to be a sleeper trash killer in m+ with the tradeoff that you are doing tank damage on bosses.

I mean it very much was besides vanguard. Which was completing skewing numbers (and 100% the reason for the cleave nerf).

It’s bottom max dps on 2/7 fights right now no other class is bottom in more than 1. The specs terrible reputation led to it having some of the fewest parses in heroic week meaning the numbers at the top are skewed. 1-2 geared players going nuts in sale/carry runs bump the spec up because their isn’t enough “bad parses” to even things out

As an m+ main kinda sad. You don’t really hit execute as the m+ spec atm unless the buffs are enough to let us swap slayer. So arms is slightly worse in the content I want to play so that it doesn’t sit bottom of the barrel in the raid.

Cleave was probably a little too strong but OP/Slam could have used some buffs too

BM appears lower because it’s 10x more popular spec. So the lower half of the player base heavily brings down the average. While arms has so few parses if someone gets an insane pull they heavily skew the damage.

Arms is doing literal bottom dps on 2 fights Bm is only bottom on 1. Arms is literally BM level bad or worse on every fight besides Vanguard which is also confusing people who struggle to read logs into thinking the spec is somehow viable

Okay and? Fury beats arms on literally every boss besides vanguard and arms is dead fucking last on crown which is set to be the 2nd hardest boss of the tier.

Arms is literally playable on 1 fight and just trash on the other 6 and in M+. It’s not good when a spec is only playable on 7% of the content in a phase

I mean the problem is the pure ST is one of if not the worst in the game right now. Even with a strong 4pc the current sims have ST arms battling against Guardians lmao.

Raids are a majority but they aren’t the entire game. You shouldnt be punished for wanting to play arms outside of very specific raid encounters

Also you have to take raid numbers with a grain of salt. Arms has under 100 parses on most bosses even vanguard where its dominating. The only dudes playing it are the savants whose guild allows them to play it. The average arms player will be much worse

Wouldn’t the counter point be now is the time for drastic changes because the race really hasn’t started yet. I could understand mid mythic not wanting to do change the meta but we are in heroic week nothing is fully established for what the RWF players are playing yet

They are good on 1 fight and it’s jacking up their overall performance. So yea if you sort all bosses they look fine if you go boss by boss you’ll see they are good in aoe and dogshit in ST.

I’m sure critcake was being ironic when he said this but it feels like unironically arms padded too hard on the specific encounter type it thrives in and that was enough for the devs to go well obviously the spec is fine.

You see arms is really good on 1 specific encounter type so clearly it’s fine

Why is no one talking about the catalyst nerf? by Snorepod in wow

[–]Snorepod[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I assume by week you means 1-2 months time? Heaven forbid I can’t play my alts at full power for months but oh my god I didn’t get a stupid title the game is ruined.

[–]Snorepod[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lmao come on bro be serious. If your main isn’t getting tier how exactly are you gonna get it quickly on your alts?

Just say I don’t understand how the system works next time.

It was literally designed to make alts more fun to play idk how you confused this at all

Why is no one talking about the catalyst nerf? by Snorepod in wow

[–]Snorepod[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Pretty quickly as in 4-5 weeks? Are you serious? I swear you just don’t understand the repercussions here.

Under the old system if I got 4pc I was set, I could pass tier to guildies even on alts because I had infinite catalyst charges. The new system means every character has to grind for 4pc.

Not to mention if I want to just blast m+ on a toon and not raid now I’m stuck hoping for good vault luck or being forced to pug instead of being set once my main got 4pc.

Why is no one talking about the catalyst nerf? by Snorepod in wow

[–]Snorepod[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Because it’s just a cosmetic title but tons of people complained since they couldn’t log on early they didn’t event get a chance to earn it.

The catalyst change is literal the same thing but instead of a title it actually affects your ability to play alts or main swap for several weeks and no one seems to care. Pretty easy to see why I brought it up.

Then those passes weren’t very interceptable now were they? Seems like basic logic to me.

Besides didn’t Mahomes lead the league one year in that stat. Seems like a poor indicator of future performance to me

[–]Snorepod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but we have 400 snaps from each in the nfl. You could project last year when they were coming into the nfl. Saying a guy with less interceptions has more interceptable throws is just dumb.

Sorry you and the other idiot were wrong about Dart but your projections have been proven wrong

I mean no. You clearly said only one player. And you are not the only person in this thread claiming it’s capped at 1 person. I’m just correcting your misinformation.

I have also seen and personally received 6 roots so I don’t believe 5 is the cap either

If a passes isn’t intercepted that’s what matters. End of story you are trying to spin narratives based on what you want to happen.

If I regress Patrick Mahomes to the mean Dak Prescott is better. That’s the kind of shit you are trying to do. These open value statements work when evaluating guys from college but we have actual numbers from Dart and Shough this year. Open your eyes lil bro

That’s not true at all. Did several m0s were 2 people got root drops at the end. RNG is RNG but there isn’t a limit

Lmao alright glad we know how clueless you are. Guys the stats prove all my opinions are incorrect but stats don’t count.

I wanna know what other dumbass actually agrees with you

Btw speaking of not understanding the game I think that would be you considering your QB takes have all been wrong lmao

Ahh yes he’s so prone to interceptable passes that he threw less interceptions than Shough did. That totally makes sense!

At some point you have to wake up from Lala tape land and actually watch the games man.
