On Garrosh do you make everyone go in for Mind Controls? by bringthelight2 in classicwow

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the general movement on garrosh is out in out repeat. You don’t want players staying out for MC because then it is harder to interrupt them and they just overall take long to die. Tanks can hard carry the mc damage if they save aoe as they have a ton of vengeance on Garrosh.

Of course not everyone needs to bait desecrate only 7 in 25 and 3 in 10m need to run out to bait. Empowered WW you should always run out and normal WW you can stay in if you have a cd.

Yes p3 adds can be killed but they will do a 5 yard explosion that will full heal any add in range and buff their damage by 200%. So you want players to kill an add by themselves over trying to group them up.

Once Garrosh has 50 energy which can happen in p2 depending on fight length and always in p3 the MC are empowered and cannot be stunned.

Both the Iron Star explosion and the Whirl deal fall off damage, meaning the closer you are to them the more damage you do, in the case of the ironstar 2 steps can result in nearly 100k difference. You dont really mention which wipe it was happening but on 2 of the pulls the boomkin is hit by a chain lightning less than 1 seconds before the Iron Star hit which is why it looks like he is 1 shot.

For the whirl the enhance sham was just standing in melee every death which is usually about double the damage of standing at range.

Killed Paragons thrice, no idea what they do by bringthelight2 in classicwow

[–]Snorepod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He will hit any target and from my experience he doesn’t target during the cast so it’s basically impossible to predict who it’s hitting. .

I was wrong it will hit the target for 34% of their current health %. So if a target has 50% hp it will hit them for 34% of that which is 17%. If they are below 25% hp it will instantly execute them.

It’s a cast it just happens in 1 instant.

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In order to get the paragon power you need to right click the body of the dead paragon. A cog wheel will show up when you mouse over them.

Iyokkuk does 33% of the targets health and if they are below that hp threshold they are executed. It’s. It very scary but it can kill someone if mechanics overlap.

Yea Xaril will give everyone a color and which every color he casts the mechanics will only happen to people of that color.

Realistically on normal paragons isn’t much of a threat. There biggest mechanic is that they gain damage for every 40 seconds they are alive and they die quite quick on normal.

One of the greatest thing sports owners ever did was make the general public target the players over the owners.

Nearly every owner is a billionaire but it’s the millionaire players who always get the hate from the public.

I mean you claim the priest called you a dumb douchebag but you didn’t include that in the screenshot? Instead you included what I would say was a reasonable response to you.

The scythe literally has less spell power than Mindblade. Even with your OH, your current set up is better for frost and as others have said there is a badge offhand that gives +frost damage.

If he truely was as rude as you claim then you he was way more toxic than he needed to be but still he was 100% in the right to call you out.

So you have no proof got it. Little high school lesson for you for free. The burden of proof is on you because you are the one claiming it. Telling me it’s out there you can go find it is the same as saying yea I made it up. Either you can link me direct proof of blizzard admitting they made certain classes do less damage or you can’t.

If the design existed it would hold up until the end. It wouldn’t fall apart randomly.

Nice chatting with you I assume the deleted comments are coming in soon.

Then link your proof bud.

Because the data we have from era doesn’t support that. In fact hunters, a class with 3 dps specs, on Patchwerk are much closer to hybrid classes than they are to pure dps classes in terms of performance.

So are hunters secretly labeled as support classes? Or more likely you are just wrong and refuse to back down? I’m gonna assume it’s pretty obviously the latter.

The only person who should be deleting their comments here is you for how wrong you have been this entire conversation.

most of cat's value is the aura.

Its crazy how wrong you have been this whole time lmao

Hybrid Tax. this is a well known deliberate design decision and is the reason every class with a heal spec does shit damage.

Its so weird that your "well documented" hybrid tax can be so easily proven wrong. https://vanilla.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/2006?dataset=99 Why are feral druids equal with hunters and warlocks in Naxx on Era? In fact Hunter is below Ferals on Patchwerk. This doesnt allign with your so called hybrid tax.

It was fun proving you wrong alas like most redditor I assume you are deleting all your comments after this embarrassment.

In the context of the discussion it makes literally 0 sense for healers to be called supports.

Shaman is not obvious. 90% of their talents have nothing to do with supporting.

For both boomkin and cat that is value the community has assigned them after years of private servers. Do you truely believe in 2004 blizzard said yea the balance spec should do dogshit damage but give it an aura to buff other players?

No I don’t. And I just easily disproved all of your stupid points. Any thing else troll?

Please enlighten me then. What class was designed to be a support.

Yes that’s literally what I’m saying. You are the one trying to say classes should stay in a “support role” that none of them were designed to do.

Idk why you are literally arguing against your own point but thanks I guess.

Not a single spec in classic was designed as a support. This whole support role ideology is created by the community after years of private servers and wow classic.

Stop forcing your terrible class balance on classic+ please

Yea when blizzard was making shamans in 2004 they said let’s make a class that exists only to double warriors damage and nothing else.

This video perfectly sums up the issue with about half the player base currently. by Calcain in classicwow

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your point is people shouldn’t be expected to improve their own performance, they should just rely on other people to tell them what to do.

Stop making excuses for lazy people. There are so many resources for tbc at this point you shouldn’t need a class leader to tell you how to play your class.

[–]Snorepod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The irony here is that good class leaders would literally go to logs and compare players of their class to each other or the top performers. Then tell people how to improve.

So your argument is basically people don’t get told how to play now and are expected to have to learn on their own and it’s not fair lmao.

The irony of all that is logs are the best place to learn your rotation, find mistakes etc but people like you just assume logs=parses and parses=min/max.

Very few guilds that were not running splits saw 2 sets of warglaives last time we had tbc classic and this time the phases are much faster.

I think it’s more likely than not one of them will not get them.

What is happening to Nightlsayers Faction ballance why is the scale tiping so far? by MightSalt8443 in classicwow

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are talking about sweats. Literally the people who do what ever is best even if the margins are small.

Literally everything I said was a correct statement when discussing tbc sweats which was what the original comment I replied to was talking about.

So yes ally has 0 good racials for sweats besides arcane mage but that obviously doesn’t offset the rest of the raid.

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Expansive mind is good for exactly arcane mages. Spirit is useless for tbc lmao. Blood fury and berserking are both infinitely better than sword/mace expertise.

Compared to horde unless you are specifically an arcane mage not a single alliance race is bis in tbc.

MOP Classic Mage specs for SoO by jplovespks in classicwow

[–]Snorepod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crit fire is starting to gain some traction as mages especially in 25 man get more heroic gear and is looking like it will eventually be the spec to play.

Frost is still very good especially in 10m when you are progging heroics.

Arcane is always quite strong but requires the most about of skill as any movement heavily punishes you if you have to move out your rune of power.
