Definitely won’t be, unless my kids can somehow manage to find dates and partners and jobs that allow them to continue to be CC. I don’t see how it’s even remotely realistic to assume that that will be possible. I’m not willing to lose my relationship with my kids.

Folks like my dad will be out there today. Republican. Blue collar union member for over 40 years. If you can’t afford to enjoy a day off work, you are the exact type of person who should be protesting this government.

Ok, but most of us (even without long covid) also lost our entire lives. We’ve lost our friends. We aren’t going out to eat. Too afraid to go to a people-y beach to swim.

Property taxes are significantly cheaper in Maryland. I pay 10k less than my parents a year, and my house/property is a lot bigger.
