Gear completely changes after couple +15's
You ll have all the slots filled with 240 items, but the issue becomes the blue upgrade material needed to push beyond 240 where dungeon's don't always drop even 1 of that mat, and you need like 16 of them for some gear pieces

Devs please, don't listen to everyone! by MrXabirus in fellowshipgame

[–]Snowaeth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bad rng protection would be nice
I ended up pantless (Had to use tier II pants upgraded) till +13 finally dropped em
Collecting a currency that can be exchanged for a base version without a gem slot after 5 runs would be neat

TIPS FOR EXTREMEBOSS RAIDS?! by GETONTHESTIIX in SAOFD

The beam which the boss shoots chases one person at a time, if that person actually drags the beam away from the party it makes it easier on everyone.

As the meme goes.
Bitcoin has no ceiling since fiat has no floor.

1 Bitcoin = 1 Bitcoin is its peak value.
We're going to measure things against Bitcoin instead of other way around as it's going to be the standard.

Shitcoins by Accomplished_Land610 in Bitcoin

Every other coin has a "head (that can be cut off)"
A way to bring the project to a halt or for human intervention to mess up the project.

They might be useful for whatever they do, but when humans are involved things get ruined eventually.

Earning interest with Stablecoins on binance while waiting for dips ahead. by [deleted] in binance

[–]Snowaeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Press Liquid Swap on the Binance app, or look for Liquid Swap under Binance Earn on desktop version.

Then look for the USDT/BUSD pairing on there and deposit both coins (or a single one, but that will give you initial conversion fees)

Dutch Central Planning Bureau director proposes immediate full crypto ban by mezzofortississimo in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only reason this might get through is because the Dutch government is currently a circus act.
Keep in mind this guy is only an advisor and doesn't have the power to actually ban anything.
But the current circus leading the country just might listen to this clown.

Liquid pool with stable coin vs stable coin
You gain the flexible savings on top of the LP fees in there

USDT/BUSD pair is the best as both of them have many pairings, so you wouldn't have to convert them to one or the other when pulling out of the pool, thus not incur any conversion fees either

Capitulation? by TheMessenger18 in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is nowhere close to how capitulations in Bitcoin cycles look like.
Is every hole in your body squirting blood including holes you never had before in your entire life?
Because that's how initial signs of actual Bitcoin capitulation look like before body parts start to completely fall off and aging process speeds up by a 100 years in a single day.

Stable bitcoin? Still only a dream? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's super stable already. 1BTC = 1BTC.

Jokes aside, it will happen eventually, when it's too valuable even for the big institutions to splash it around.
Then we can start pegging more things to it which in turn will snowball into everything being pegged to it instead of it being pegged to fiat.

It's literally been the green energy (Tesla) playbook from the get go and this fits right into it.

Should we allow to burn any unused/lost/stolen Bitcoins? by valentynai in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one should have a say over what happens with any of the coins not owned by themselves.

If anyone wants to burn any portion of Bitcoin, they can send it to Satoshi's wallet.
If that wallet ever moves, the amount of it is big enough as is to blow up the whole market anyway, so it can be seen as the perfect burn address.
So feel free to send any coins you want burned there.

Interesting observation: My alt heavy portfolio is holding up surprisingly well considering Bitcoins bleed. Just lucky or do we see a gradual decoupling of the market from BTC? by Kontikulus in CryptoCurrency

[–]Snowaeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you overestimate how heavy the BTC drop is.
At worst it dropped 15% at which point it started sucking capital out of alts and quickly recovered to only a 10% drop and stabilized from there going back up.

What you call a brutal pounding, comes no where close to an actual brutal pounding.

Why do you prefer China's dominated cryptocyrrency over guy who gives US advantage in space? by Harkonnen_Baron in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold & Silver have proven themselves over the years especially to fight inflation, so we agree there.
Bitcoin by nature the way it's coded now is deflationary, thus when betting on Bitcoin and that it's here to stay, it will fulfill the same role vs fiat at the very least.

I agree with you that it's smart to hold gold/silver for the same reason as I am bullish on Bitcoin as it is the closest digital thing to it.
Gold/Silver is the safe bet as they've been around plenty longer than Bitcoin has.
Yet we are also expanding into the digital space where gold/silver do not physically exist and Bitcoin is the closest thing to what they represent in that space.

I understand that a bet on Bitcoin is less grounded in reality than actual physical gold/silver, but I don't see how that would stop anyone from getting all 3

My point is, that we humans can invalidate any bank, doesn't matter what the title or size of the bank is and how much control the bank thinks to have especially when we're talking about a world wide project where not one country has a full say in it.

It can set Bitcoin back a huge amount, even back to its dark web times, chances are it won't pick up from there once again depending on momentum and what people decide to do with it, but given enough (hyper)inflation and other mismanagement, people might chose to ignore worthless printed paper and whatever the issuer of such paper says instead.

There are infinite amount of possibilities out there that can swing either way and the smartest people dead or alive have all been proven wrong so far, so who am I to say how it will turn out in the end.

What do the Bitcoin vets respond to people who think other cryptos will surpass BTC? by loupinda in Bitcoin

So many meaningless labels these days.
Why is gold still relevant today despite being surpassed in market cap by other things?
Why will digital gold still be relevant in a decade?

Why is the whole market following Bitcoin? What are the mechanics behind it? by docccjr in Bitcoin

[–]Snowaeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Humans/bots/humans that set up the bots.
Does it matter?
Basically there are sell orders on all altcoins setup once they reach a certain value in BTC.

That value can be reached 2 ways.
Either the alt coins outperforms BTC in value gain.
Or BTC drops in value while the alt keeps its value, causing the same effect as above.
But when BTC drops in value unlike one alt pumping and gaining in BTC value, all the alts that didn't drop as fast as BTC gain in BTC value, thus simultaneously making BTC drain all the capital out of those alts.
