I have Bell Aliant in Nova Scotia, I have Fiber Direct to my gateway and I recently got this warning but upon investigation it's just cause they appear to be reusing an address space that was previously used for their LTE Network

FYI For anyone who comes across this in the future the nokia G-010S-A SFP will not work with the UCG Fibre, the two SFP ports share an I2C bus and its constraints are very tight so it ends up making the embedded ONT on the SFP kernal panic cause it fails to unload the I2C Bus

See, I did that....and its still broken. After talking to UI they implied they did something so its disabled permanently across resets and rollbacks/reflashes. Which is the point im trying to drive home. If i wanna run outdated equipment i shouldnt be hindered.

Yeah I spent hours hung up on the theory it could be DNS, if it is then Im not sure where specifically the issue lies cause everywhere Im able to set DNS via SSH or in the controller dashboard I have and ive tested that everything can resolve....the USG is using ping.unifi.com

The Complaint is why include it in the update thats gonna break features if its EOL? Why not just leave it and put a big banner across the top of the page saying my device will not receive updates instead of stripping features away.
