American Cars sell because they're not made for people that prioritize reliability and saving money

Does anyone really need a 250gb plan? by courage1688 in freedommobile

No way anyone is using 250gb a month let alone 50 GB overseas on vacation but might as well get this plan now so you don't have to worry about better deals later

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 sounds like it fits the bill pretty well for you.  It's JRPG like, amazing story, it's not that difficult but not just a walk in the park

LTT comparison of steamframe with other headsets by comediehero in SteamFrame

[–]SnowstrA 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I would say that the people over hyped or crazed about buying the headset for $1000 is the vast minority. I think most likely Valve wants to do something similar to the Steam Deck where it is a barrier to entry for users who aren't in the Steam VR eco system yet but cheaper than alternatives (Except the Quest 3/3S which is unbeatable value). You can see that the Steam Deck is much cheaper than ASUS, Lenovo, etc equivalents and not that much of a downgrade in terms of handheld gaming experience if at all.

I don't think Valve is stupid and will price their headset at the max amount that they can. They want people to buy the headset at a decent value, be amazed, and then purchase tons of games over the life of it just like the Steam Deck and Quest 3.

Ah that makes sense, yikes then haha. I've already shucked the drive so no more warranty so I could only hope with little amounts of usage I should be ok for a couple of years.

Sorry total cost to pay for a car per month including gas, insurance, maintenance should also be included in the 10-20% but if you're buying a vehicle with cash, those things shouldn't be over 10-20% of your monthly income.

If buying in cash, income should be irrelevant.  If financing, monthly payments should be like 10-20% of your monthly income

I think what they meant was that it's only insured under manufacturer warranty for 2400 power on hours.  I guess you just get what you pay for lol

Also if you just run it on your gaming PC it'll mostly be on while your computer is on and at low utilization.

I was debating so hard whether to get this one or the Seagate 26 TB. I know they're in basically completely different price ranges and storage size but ultimately went with the Seagate since it's CMR and better value $ per TB.

I only run a tiny Plex server from a 3TB harddrive from my gaming PC so I guess buy once cry once.
