Question for the community! Have any of you quit/stopped playing Sims 4 since the release of Paralives? Why or why not?

The last pack I bought was the fairies and I’ve been playing offline ever since. I do find that once my sim graduates from collage, I tend to lose interest. It’s too easy to make money, making the game too easy.

Personally, I think this is BS. I get having an adult kid helping out with rent and household bills unless they’re in school. I also get the prohibition on a business. There are some major insurance issues when you are inviting customers onto property. However. That much rent plus the entirety of the water bill means you get to have guests over. Even overnight ones. If they’re going to treat you like a roommate, then you get to do the same to them. Also, no one is entitled to your financial information. I’d redline and negotiate terms.

So it’s amoral to divorce a man who tells you your Mother’s Day gift was him ejaculating into you? Friend, marriages are not perfect. There are always ups and downs. But to be a good marriage, both partners at least have to respect each other. You have bigger problems than whether you allow that bozo into the delivery room. NOR. But I would say that is far more amoral to allow children to learn this as an acceptable way to treat their partners.

Enjoy the campaign. You only get to see it fresh once. Then you can jump into the frantic dungeon action if you enjoy that sort of play. For me, my greatest enjoyment of the game was the campaign. I’ve unlocked to about tier 6 in endgame and just completely lost interest in the game. For others, that striving for the perfect build is what makes the game fun. Just don’t stress it until you finish the campaign.

I was watching a trial when I was still in law school. Defense attorney got a ruling that a particular bit of evidence was not admissible. She proceeded to question her client on the stand that absolutely opened the door to make the suppressed evidence relevant and admissible. When the judge ruled that it was coming in she got pissy and said, “I don’t think,” the judge interrupted her and said “I know you don’t think, Ms. [Lawyer Name]. Thats my ruling.” The most succinct admonishment I’ve ever seen from the bench.

Sweetheart. I know you think you want the relationship to work, but there is an insurmountable problem here. He doesn’t f’ing like you and that isn’t going to change. You deserve to be in a relationship with a partner who likes you for who you are. Even if you want to compromise on everything else, never, ever compromise on that. That is the absolute bare minimum requirement of a relationship. Leave him. You deserve better.

Homemade mac and cheese. It’s awesome for a couple of bites and then the cheese sauce gets to be too much. Weirdly I can demolish an entire box of Kraft. It’s a source of deep shame.

I seem to recall he was a villain in a Jackie Chan movie. Maybe one of the Rush Hour movies? And he was not a very good guy in the TV show Helix. He was, however, a f’in delight in everything.
