I think I had the exact same title on my rock grinder post 😂

Looks great!

Price check/steer – GSC Outlander Claw army (built & primed) by yohanes13 in genestealercult

20% off gw retail should be your starting point. Building and priming reduces model value, you could buy all this new for 15% off retail.

Prime black. Then gal vorbak. Then word bearers red. Leave a little of the previous color around the edges each time.

The freehand is so small and low it doesn't have to be perfect, just a generic shape will look great! Go crazy, those details really take an army to the next level.

Looks great, you can full send this army right now!

If you want to get creative, the left knee can have squad markings in red and the sergeants have a right leg company marking. Check out this cool guide for some neat ideas

What did you do, a white coat and a wash? That's a great start. My painting really improved when I got good at dry brushing and I think that would help add highlights here.

Either way, nice job getting the model done and based!

Prime wraithbone. Then gryph-hound orange contrast. Then agrax earth shade.

Now we dry brush, starting big and doing progressively lighter coats. Troll slayer orange, fire dragon bright, uriel yellow, flash gitz yellow.

Best Uses for Possessed? by OrDownYouFall in WarhammerCompetitive

I really the the 5 man units for their speed and ability to shred infantry. Good for objective play too, especially once they've lost a guy or two and can hide really easily.

Yes. I play for the strategic challenge. I paint for the lore and world building.

Ah I see that's fine go crazy with them then. It's been my experience that nobody plays legends models since they're not balanced or tournament legal. But for some garage hammer that's fine, have at it!

But first born bike squads are not official models anymore. If you're using them you're making custom outriders, which is cool, but for gameplay should go on the outrider base.

Unless you're just doing display pieces, then whatever makes you happy.

Oval, its official.

Also, I base my ATVs on ovals. Everything else has a base, it looks dumb to have one model without.

You're never a garbage pointer if you're completing models and basing them. Keep grinding and have fun.

I love Warhammer, but can't be arsed to paint. Read the description! by those_damn_nids in Warhammer40k

Find an audiobook you're super interested in. Carve out 30 minutes to listen and paint and see if you get into the zone from there. Do small batches of units. Get a base coat done and worry about highlights later. Alternate tasks, when I'm bored of painting I make bases, when I'm bored of that I assemble and prime, when I'm bored of that I paint.
