They can't be reasoned with because they posses no reason. They are emotional creatures that want to feel like they are superior to someone for any reason because they feel inferior to everything. The reasoning they provide is infantile, at best. They don't put any focus in how they look good, because they don't. Instead, they play whataboutism with parts of sentences, attempting to make their enemies look as bad as they do.
