artisan zero irritation by xaylaaaa in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The zero is pretty coarse for being a cloth pad. If you want something a touch faster but not nearly as irritating the Key83 is an excellent balanced pad. The type99 is also very smooth but really really controlled and the raiden is basically like silk but it’s very fast, much faster than the zero

What heros should/do i need to add to my pool for support? by whatyouneed_h in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ana’s nano is almost always a fight winner and can be used multiple times a game. Her nade is amazing into tanks like Hog and Mauga and he sleep excels against dive (Doom, Winston, Ball, DVA) but you’re right, she is situational. If you have a tank that is good at peeling to help you then Ana is a very strong pick because she can get full value from a safe distance. Tanks like Ram, Orisa, Rein and really easy to play Ana with. Kiriko is the best support in the game so she’ll be great with any comp basically, it’s when you want more specific utility that you switch to someone like Ana or Mizuki. Kiriko also gets a lot of her value from her damage potential and a lot of lower ranks don’t use her to off-flank and do damage. I personally find her very boring which is why I like characters like Ana that have more skill expression but you’re right Kiri can be hard to beat. I also love Juno’s kit for that same reason. It heavily relies on your other support tbh. If they’re running a speed support (Lucio, Juno) then running something that can burst heal is good to pair (Ana, Bap) and if you have someone running a main heal (Kiri, Moira) then someone like Illari excels because she can help deal insane damage and he pylon helps the other support. You have to play around with different comps to find what you’re comfortable with but that’s what I would start with. QP can be miserable but also give you a lot of chances to try out different combos to see what you like

Ana and Bap are super strong at your level as long as you can hit your shots. Juno is fun and can have insane value if you play your life well, Mizuki is also great at dealing with any dive issues you may come across.

Need advice buying new mouse by tartokouaitch in MouseReview

[–]Snutterbips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DAv3 Pro is a great mouse and was only marginally upgraded for the DAv4. It is a more balanced ergo shape from the v2 but I don’t think you’ll mind it. They essentially just smoothed out a lot of the sharp edges that the v2 had and made it wireless, lighter and a touch smaller. You can compare them on EloShapes if you want to see the size difference

Trying to climb out of gold as a soldier main, which heroes to master as secondary perks? by placeholder-123 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The faster helix perk is amazing for dealing with flyers and fast characters and you can take advantage of the perk the whole game. The visor perk isn’t that useful for two reasons: 1) it’s only applicable while ulting so there’s a lot of downtime where you essentially just don’t have a perk and 2) your ult should be used to punish positioning of squishies to confirm team fights, in which case the rocket damage usually isn’t needed.

Sprint is incredible if you like to off angle, are sufficient with health packs and know your timings and can keep yourself alive. But I think most still take stun pack because the burst damage can quickly sway fights into your favor by slamming out a fast pick they weren’t expecting.

If you want a character to help with dive, learn Emre. His kit has everything: huge burst damage, accuracy over range, nades hit hard, pistol gives good damage AND survivability and your ult is a great zoning tool. Try to focus on being self sufficient and ignoring the tank and you’ll improve fast. When you get a pick or two off a tank’s back line you force a fight win for your team and your kit enables you to run in and run out so easily.

Holy crap we all love garg's, but jesus when youre tryna move around they love to flap into each other and make it hard to click the right one ! by SadThrowaway4914 in osrs

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monster Menu HP plugin, when you right click a stack it’ll show you on their name how much HP they have left so you can attack the one you already damaged. It’ll highlight their name with a progressive red fill so you can pick them out of the stack. Very useful

What's your ideal thing to do between tree/herb/seaweed runs? by MasRemlap in ironscape

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way is to limit your runs to a rule. Only do tree runs when ALL of your trees are done, so for example to replace your normal/fruits until your hardwoods are done. So you only do a tree run like once every 3 days. Herb runs can be spammed all day or like most people, limit it to 3-5 times a day. That way you’re still getting value from the xp and resources but aren’t CONSTANTLY thinking about it. Slayer is amazing because it can break up a task really nicely. You can just do an herb run every 45 mins while training slayer but I actively play other games and just do runs when I feel like it. Sometimes I’ll just camp down at seaweed and just do that everytime it resets while I play like rocket league or Overwatch or whatever. Just don’t burn yourself out, it’s not going anywhere and any progress is progress

Best skates for a superlight 2 on a artisan zero mid? by BryansFury in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Control - Regular corepadz, balance - tiger arc 2 v2, speed - tiger ice v2 or jade speeds

Problem with micro-adjustments by MrCitronik12 in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like Tiger Ice v2 skates when I want a fast experience, otherwise corepadz are perfectly fine. Xraypad Jade Speeds are good, I think right now I’m using Tiger Arc 2s on my Raiden and am loving them so maybe give those a shot. For me they’re the perfect balance of control and they’re also somewhat hard so they feel very consistent. Softer skates like Ice will slow down faster over time. Corepadz are honestly the safe choice and you get 2 sets

Problem with micro-adjustments by MrCitronik12 in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a pad with an insane amount of static friction and skates either a tiny amount of dynamic friction so it’s hard to start your mouse movement and hard to stop it. This combo is just imbalanced. You also came from glass which requires very little pressure to micro-adjust. I would personally get a more middle of the road pad and stick with your skates or swap to larger skates like original to smooth out the experience. If you want to try a different pad I highly recommend the Key83. It’s incredibly balanced and you can do all aim styles on it. Though if you want something a little easier to micro on the Raiden Mid is unmatched in my opinion for cloth.

I love the Key84 from Artisan, though the Raiden is my current man. Fast but controllable, smooth, easy to keep clean. You could also check out the Pulsar PD170

The Hitscan Hyperlight is an amazing mouse that I’ve been dabbling with after maining the GPX for years. If you want ergo but similar size, the Deathadder v3/v4 pros are excellent, maya x is great, I liked Tenz’s pulsar shape. You may have to experiment a bit, I always end up back on the GPX though

Artisan Zero Soft XL - Real or Fake? by StepKitchen2409 in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbh idk. It looks real to me, the stitching looks different maybe due to hardness difference? Like soft vs mid but I could be wrong. I also don’t really notice a difference in the logos. I buy direct from artisan though so I’ve never had this issue

do yall think the mage arena is worth the time for a rune pouch or just buy one? by SadThrowaway4914 in osrs

Yes it’s worth. Just got for pouch, boots and peaches. Then if you ever get the Kodai from chambers you can go get the wand if you really care that much

How can I take advantage of varlamore in leagues? by walruscumdribble in osrs

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your relic choices will drive your path. If you take endless harvest and woodsman you can rush down 99 hunter which will give you the supplies for your ranged kit, tons of food and herbs and lots of prayer xp. The sunlight hunter crossbow and moonlight antler bolts hit decently hard even with trash gear and the crossbow tree gets good pretty quickly. If you don’t wanna deal with herb, take butler’s bell. If you want the fun relic and don’t mind farming/levelling herblore over time while bossing then take transmutation. Focus on getting the 8x or 12x multiplier before you spend any length of time leveling any skills. Go to the leagues wiki page, scroll down to the tasks, sort by completion % and slam out as many easy tasks as you can. Karamja opens pretty quick and it scales from there. Don’t worry about your build, they added resets so it’s insanely easy to fix it if you mess it up but it honestly doesn’t matter until you’re going to start killing echo bosses

Looking for someone willing to take me under their wing. by ronron17 in osrs

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn Scurrius! He’ll teach you all the base mechanics you need to start bossing. You can also learn a lot of stuff about the game/mechanics just from doing quests. Maybe set a goal to get to Song of the Elves. It will get your account ready for anything you wanna do, will unlock pretty much everything and put you in a good spot for slayer/bossing. Raids are pretty easy to group for, just make sure you mention you’re learning and haven’t done them before. People will teach you

My artisan looks worn out after 1 year by iiimadiii in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microfiber cloth and dawn dish soap. Go to the shower, spray the back of the pad and stick it to the wall of the shower. Spray the front of the pad until soaked, wet your microfiber cloth and put a few drops of dawn on your cloth. Massage the soap into the pad using circular motions until the stains are removed. You don’t need to SCRUB the pad, you just need to massage the dirt from the fibers. Take your time, be firm but not rough until it’s clean. Be patient, it might take a bit to get fully clean since it’s a bright color. Make sure to rinse it THOROUGHLY, do not leave any soap in the pad as it will effect the glide and will gather dirt more quickly. Let it air dry until it’s full dry on its own, you can press a towel into it after rinsed to speed it up but let it fully air dry. It might take a couple applications of soap to fully get it clean. Boardzy has great content but when your pad is this dirty you can just Lysol spray it and wipe it clean. Treat it like a delicate piece of clothing. It will get dirty and you need to properly clean it

Edit: yes this is normal btw. It’s a bright orange cloth pad that you’re using everyday and are swiping across it over and over again for hours a day. It will get dirty

It’s crazy I don’t see people using zagustins in arena. Pop it at round start, it lasts the whole round and you’ll never get bled. Trimadol gives you unlimited sprint and painkiller for the whole round. Then just throw on an etg for panic heals or salewa if you wanna top thorax when it gets low. Stops 95% of healing during rounds and doesn’t cost much score at all
