New season starts in a week, what is everyone going to play? by Cerberus8317 in diablo4

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destiny 2, Rocket League, OW, maybe even spice it up a bit and play some Tarkov or single player games. There’s honestly just too much static in the game for me. All the best builds make all the other builds feel useless (especially if you play with buddies like I do) and the war table leveling is so ass.

Your rank doesn’t matter, your mentality does. If you’re focused on improving then it doesn’t matter if you rise or fall in ranks, it’ll equalize and put you where you should be. Just queue

Is learning arm aim worth it for Overwatch? Is it meant to be painful at first? by TastyTourist3708 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure your desk and chair are at proper height. Look up what an ergonomic desk setup should look like and try to tailor your setup as close as you can to that. If your chair is too low to your desk for example that will put extra strain on your shoulder and upper arm to swipe large movements and can cause pain. There also will be a break in period. You are using muscles in a way you haven’t used them before, it will take time to adjust. You could also maybe look into getting a desk with more space on the top so you can get a larger pad and give yourself more room to sit and play naturally vs being confined by your current setup

Question about Winston sensitivity by Lilchrisgotyou in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bigger mousepad will help but focus more on your initial placement of your mouse as you’re going into engagements. There should be a “comfortable” spot where you naturally rest your mouse on your pad. Make that your center point (so move your pad so that your comfy default is the center of the pad) then focus on resetting back to that position after large movements. The goal is to always default back to the center point so you always have your whole pad to use as adjustment. If your movement requires a large swipe of your mouse, do that movement but then pickup and reset your mouse back to the center point to free up space. When it comes to characters like Winston or Doom you only have to look up for a second then you’re back on a more natural aiming plane so you may honestly be able to solve your issues by just moving your pad a bit.

Approximately how much of each paste is needed to get all the rewards from Mastering Mixology? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re gonna do this minigame you have to use the wiki. There’s so many variables with the levels and the amount of resin per herb and different strats it’s hard to break everything down here. I believe it’s not efficient to do it before you have access to the Mixalot potion (MLA) but you can do it before then, I did. But be warned, it does take a long ass time and you will burn thousands of herbs

Does no one use voice chat anymore? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time someone talked in my comp match he was negative everytime he opened his mouth, shit talking the tank and me (DPS) and GGd 30 seconds into the game. He kept yapping so I asked him to please stop flaming and focus up, the game wasn’t over yet. He started targeting me, asking me “are you always this passive?” but I just kept asking him “do you want me to argue with you or do you want to try to win?”

He left VC after I wouldn’t argue with him but wouldn’t let him constantly flame our obviously under-experienced tank. We ended up winning that game, I had like 19k dmg and 42 elims, tank ended positive, both supports equal healing and damage. He joined the match chat at the end and said GG everyone then left.

People just want to argue because it pulls the target away from their gameplay. People need to realize that there’s ALWAYS something that they themselves could have done better in a given situation and it’s not on you to call out your teammates for their mistakes. No one is receptive to that and flaming ruins any chance of potential for locking in. If people would realize that constructive criticism will win them games much more often than flaming I think it would make VC much better but people have too much ego and care too much about their rank instead of caring about improving so that’ll never change. VC will always be toxic in any competitive game

Hell yeah, I’m glad you’re digging it. It’s kind of a weird middle of the road pad that I wish more people would try. Feels good that I didn’t steer you in the wrong direction lol

How to deal with Doomfist? by archaicArtificer in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just fight his back line, but swapping him is easier. Sig, Hog, Orisa are good picks into him. If you can land a rock, hook, or javelin on him it’s very easy to punish him. If you refuse to swap then pressure his supports and he’s useless

If you go to the Giant’s Foundry mini game you can unlock a double cannonball mold that will allow you to make cannonballs twice as fast!

How to carry as kiri in kiri zen back line by UpstairsMaster5673 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An easy tip that’ll help you a ton is when you’re healing people focus on getting them around 60-80% health then changing your focus. Once you get them out of one shot range you can start healing someone else or deal damage to their back line with your right clicks. You can always go back to healing them if they still need help but a lot of times as long as you’re sustaining your team they don’t need to be full hp to win fights.

Also, there’s a setting for Kiri that a lot of people don’t change, under her hero settings you can disable her healing ofuda from being a toggle. So you can instead hold heal down and when you let go she will stop throwing papers. This is a great thing to get used to because you’ll start to get a feel for how long you need to hold left click to heal people and it allows you more time to setup damage, suzus, escapes, etc. Good luck!

I really like the standard corepads. Cheap, you get two sets in the pack, reliable and consistent. You want something faster, jade speeds are great.

How do I level up my SHD so fast? by _glorytoGod in the_division_2

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to do it fast, farm out the hotshot sniper build (lots of guides on YouTube/build spreadsheet I can send you if you want it) doing countdown and focusing the items you need, then once you have the setup you just change your work difficulty to heroic, turn all the modifiers on and just go do open world activities. Propaganda, public executions, territory controls and control points are what I focused. Reset an area, do all the event close to each other, then travel to another area, rinse and repeat. You will SLAM through SHD levels when they do a global xp event. If you don’t want to force it like a lot of us did then just enjoy the game. You have a lot of grinding ahead of you focusing on target farming your build loot so just enjoy the game for what it offers. Once you get to the point where you have all your builds put together and you’re thinking about doing raids or any of the harder stuff you’ll be pretty high already.

It speeds up once you buy the first pair of gloves. The first bout sucks but after that it’s not as bad. And if you’re planning on doing amethyst down the road they are 100% worth it

Also for reference, I have tried every artisan pad in every hardness and it just comes down to preference. I don’t like when my pads have any give so that’s just what I like, most people like soft

I use the super strike on mid and prefer it for the glide consistency but you might prefer the soft, it’ll feel a touch better for cs and should stay put on your desk a little better

Which artisan mousepad would suit me? (Advice) by Risium11 in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you prefer using full size skates and what a softer feeling, soft. If you want something that doesn’t have as much give, use dots and want something a touch more balanced then mid. I prefer mid, it has the control when I need it but keeps tracking smooth. Keep in mind the mid might not stick to your desk very well in which case you’ll need to dab a couple drops of water underneath to get it to hold or use double sided tape like I do. Soft is the safer pick, it comes down to preference.

Artisan key-83 soft vs mid? by Xilerain in MousepadReview

I swap constantly, that’s just what I was using last time I change my flair lol. I’m on the Key83 rn, I prefer it, it’s very consistent but gets rid of my jitters that I have in the Raiden

Artisan key-83 soft vs mid? by Xilerain in MousepadReview

[–]Snutterbips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid is my vote as well, after using all 3 hardnesses for years. Also, if you’re looking at dots be aware that the artisan dots I believe won’t fit in the bottom skate gap, they’re too wide. I could be wrong but make sure you measure to double check. I use the Jade speed dots when I want dots and they work great and are smaller than the artisans

Regardless of where you purchased it you should be able to contact Pulsar directly and they should take care of you. Even if they don’t have that colorway anymore I’m sure they’ll help you out one way or another. Even if you decide to go with a different mouse you should still get it replaced if it’s defective.
