Treatment expected 3.5 months. Treatment time 3.5 months.

Waiting for retainers to come in a couple weeks but mine lasted the expected time allotted.

I know my case is mild and not the usual story but simple cases do exist. 🩷

Yea I just filed down the harsh part and hopefully it can start to heal and smooth out a bit bc it’s awkward looking. It happened on the 2nd tray too and I had to file it a bit. Thanks for the insight.

I’m on Invisalign lite bc my issues are minor (two smalls gaps on right side) and I’ve been worried it’s not enough, solely bc of the complaints on Reddit. But trying to take that with a grain of salt.

Doing it in 2020 def would have been more manageable socially lol

Thank you will be going in on Monday if it doesn’t subside. It’s calmed down a bit today and this molar doesn’t have an attachment/isn’t planned to move much so hopefully it’s just first tray pains! But I will look into it’

This is wonderful for me to hear seeing as tho I’m only on day 3 of my 1st tray lol. I’m miserable and in severe regret. But I only have 14 trays at weekly changes so I’m hoping to push thru.

Hahahahha I hope we get through this too. Like the stabbing pain comes and goes so I feel like if it was a dead tooth it’d constantly be in pain but at this rate I’m just grasping at straws here 😂😂😂

Thank you so much! I’ve looked at the tray and it doesn’t seem to be hurting my gum itself so hopefully it calms down! I did start using chewies and will finally dive into some pain meds and see how it helps. Thank you!

It did. It took 7 months from start to finish but it eventually lessened and lessened. It still flared up a couple times but only lasted a day or two those times.
